Appart from this sad news, the new season actually looks pretty good. Aside from Uzumaki, which I had already mentioned, I started Chi.: Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite, Dandadan and Ao no Hako and all of them seem at least decent. Also, what's up with all these out of the box 25 episode shows these days? Are we back in 2005? Not that I'm complaining, it's just surprising to me considering in which direction things had been moving for the past few years. | ||

I meant in general. I feel like we are seeing more 25 episode anime airing more recently than in the past years. For a while every 2-cour anime, and there were not that many of them to begin with, got cut up into split-cours. Maybe it's just confirmation bias on my part though. | ||

The only barrier to entry is the first episode's got some sexual-assault-y material that some people may find uncomfortable but its not treated in an uncouth ecchi sort of way. If Dandadan ain't on your radar it should be with the anime's release. 9.5/10 as a manga, Im sure the anime will live up to it. | ||

Apparently the whole "romance" angle is just the typical anime bait and switch for "comedic" purpose. I hate that.
