The little sister is still pretty good. Both from a design pov as well as a character pov. Actually her character might be a bit annoying (to some) but it's fine with me, especially with how little we're seeing of her anyways. The dose makes it all. As to how she looks... I can't shake off the feeling that she looks a bit like a mix between yukinon (Oregairu, more specifically s1... I think) and Aika (Twintails) so that's obviously great. But as with everything that doesn't get an appearance until half the series is over: it's kinda hard to care for them as much as you do for the others. So Seaweed, aguri and Tendou are still ahead of her. She might get better than her sister though. I still have not forgiven her for cutting her hair.... but that speech quirk of hers is still so fucking adoreable... | ||

Also interesting that they're also doing a modern day Garo anime this time around. IIRC all the live action series are modern day, but the anime were all historical for whatever reason. The style's there. I hope it's good. | ||

I stopped following new seasons for like a year and because of that I haven't really been coming around to discuss them here. Anyways, I'm looking for suggestions on what to watch. Preferably completed series (like stuff that's not currently airing and that i can binge). I like almost all genres and am willing to try any genre. (my favorite genres lately are like fantasy, sci-fi, another world) but it doesnt have to be one of these genres. I just get bored with some SoL/Romcoms that don't go anywhere or feel like they drag with no break to the drama. Essentially i'd like something with good story, cute girls, good action, decent comedy. | ||

On unrelated news: I just watched the Kantai collection movie and while I heard people hating on it for me it was pretty much what I wanted out of the movie. I wouldn't have expected more out of it and what I got is pretty much what I wanted out of it. I'll see if I can write up some more on it tomorrow but it obviously looked really good, the music was amazing as always with this, I could only make out one short scene with CG in the background (but it's 6am over here and I wouldn't take my word on that in this sleepy state right now). The story obviously ended up being your cheap melodrama-whatever but I was able to look past that with how nice everything looked from the abyssals blood covered faces and just about everything else tbh, And I just don't think people walk into a cinema expecting a masterpiece of storywriting when they watch a movie about moe shipgirls so again, pretty much in line with what I wanted/expected out of it. | ||

I saw you already watched Dragonmaid and 3-gatsu for example, so realistically you're in the process of missing this season and haven't seen stuff from last season?  Perhaps something like Demi-chan wa Kataritai if you haven't seen it yet? But that's same season as Dragonmaid as well. I've heard both good and bad things about Little Witch Academia with some people absolutely being in love with it and others saying it lost something important about it. There's also Re:Creators from this/last season which I'm bringing up solely because you mentioned action but frankly I don't think it's that good of a series. It's kinda funny though, if I compare it with the Boats-movie (that I watched yesterday) I'd say they're somewhat similar: it looks really nice, the action scenes in ReCreators case in particular were well done, Ten-chan is carrying the shit out of it with her performance, it has an interesting setting and all that but at the end of the day I can't stop thinking that that's all just eye-candy that naturally (?) comes with a 2cour season while the writing leaves things to be desired. Except that with boats-movie I totally expected that and so I ended up being happy. With ReCreators I wanted more out of it... I haven't watched the final episode yet which aired like 24hours ago though | ||
