To piggyback off this, the way Shinobu calls Koyomi master ("omae-sama") is somewhat disrespectful or at least tongue in cheek. She knows she's entirely reliant on him after what Meme did at the end of Kizu. So from that aspect, her dependency somewhat puts Koyomi above her in their relationship.

That said, from Kizu to Owari, we see a total spectrum shift from Shinobu on how she views Koyomi and the relationship they have. In Bake, she's cold and refuses to talk, much less acknowledge Koyomi, for imposing life onto her. Even wearing that helmet for a few episodes to exhibit her displeasure in him. Shinobu finally thaws during their bath scene together, accepting his/their long life together and speaking to him as haughty of a manner as possible. She ends the world in a timeline where Koyomi dies during Mayoi Jiangshi. You can feel her utter disdain for everything, especially herself, for not being able to save him from Black Hanekawa. Finally, in Owari, Shinobu threatens the most powerful character in the series, Gaen, because she thought Gaen's plan might not work. But it did and even then, her bond with her servant means the world to her and her choice to stay in loli form, despite returning to full power, demonstrates that.
