Touch- sports anime, really nice. Kingdom- watching this atm, it's not bad but takes a bit to get used to the animation. Monster- just finished this recently, highly rec Toradora- how could you not have watched this yet???? Future Boy Conan- really enjoyed this one as a kid. I can give more if needed. That's why. I tend to steer clear of slice of life or school anime. Just a habit. Not really into cooking or sports shows either.

What kind of shows do you like Zero? Do you have a MAL where we can see what shows you have watched?
|
Check the nested quotes in my post above. That gives you a list for what I've seen currently, but it hasn't been updated with this year's shows at the moment. I'll get a MAL account.
|
If you saw the Fate Stay Night 2006 by Deen and the Fate/Zero you might like the Unlimited Blade Works that was done by the same people who did Zero (I only saw Night and Zero on your list).
Maou-sama was really funny. Grimgar if you like fantasy settings with an RPG element. I don't see Little Witch Academia but a few other Trigger shows so if you haven't that is worth a look. I mentioned Kara no Kyoukai before its a good series of films. The Raildex franchise has some good stuff in it. Spice and Wolf if you want best wolf banter with economics. Steins:Gate for time traveling shenanigans
Also the Rec list in the thread banner has a shit ton of the stuff the people here have compiled as being worth a watch. Not sure what on your list you liked and what you didn't XD

UBW was a solid adaptation of the route imo lol. It certainly was better then DEEN's adaptation of the Fate route plus typical ufotableness makes it very easy on the eyes.
|
I went through the ADT Rec before, hasn't been updated since 2014. I've been probably 75% on that list (slice of life/romance are the ones I haven't really seen, same with sports). I'll get to the MAL list tonight or tomorrow, depending on the whiskey flow ^_^

But the UBW TV series was good, don't remember much from it tbh.

Plenty of great things there

FSN from 2006 is garbage, the UBW movie is pretty shit but the UBW TV series from ufotable is good.
Also toradora isn't slice of life and i'm still mystified by how it has gotten that tag. It's a romcom drama.

Toradora is definitely worth it. Spice&Wolf is amazing also, as I mentioned a few pages ago, so if you haven't seen it - I really recommend it. Nanatsu no Taizai (not the hentai one that aired recently) is a pretty interesting watch, I enjoyed it. Bakuman is something every anime fan should watch, I think. Barakamon is great too. Not watching all of monogatari is a terrible life decision, but people here have already judged you for it, so I wont. Tsuki ga Kirei was nice from the recently aired shows. Usagi drop anime is great. Just don't fall into the trap of reading the manga to see what happens after where the anime left off. Tokyo magnitude 8.0 is a great show. It's a very small time investment for some great feels and a dose of realism. Gankutsuou I suggest this if you want something different. Hard to explain what you'd be getting yourself into but it's worth it. Hanasaku Iroha Warm, drama-filled and wonderful.

Some reccomendations that weren't mentioned yet. Baccano : Early 20th century mafia wars & immortals. Hunter X Hunter : Action adventure show with a darker tone than what you'd expect from the cover. Time of Eve : Episodic sci-fi SoL movie about androids. Cromartie high school : Slapstick comedy about delinquents. One Outs : Baseball gambling thriller. Zegapain : The Matrix with giant robots.

Alright! This is what I'm talking about. Thank you everyone for the rebukes and belittling! Just kidding. ^_^ Really though, thanks for the recs. I'll take a look at all of them and give them a try.
I'm 3 eps in Madoka and it's....It's not looking good. Sorry.

anyone else watching Tsurezure Children? It really grew on me over the last weeks. Always a great watch

Yes, I've been trying to get people to watch it from the start but ended up arguing and stuff.
Great show.

I'm 3 eps in Madoka and it's....It's not looking good. Sorry. the end of episode3 and everything after that is where madoka shows what it's about and why it's such a fan favorite among the drama series as it basicly gets darker and more hopeless with each and every episode. But not everyone likes the same kind of stuff so no problem
|
I enjoyed the start of Madoka. Don't really get why people say it gets better when it just changes is all. If you don't really appreciate the start I don't see how you can truly enjoy the rest.
