Great show. arguing and stuff? What is even there to argue about :O Nothing, he was overhyping it only after the first ep when no one else really read the manga. I've still been watching, it's been ok. Easy to watch 12 min eps.
Also, yeah Toad is being dumb regarding Madoka. If you don't like the show, oh well. It was pretty good when it was originally airing and trying to speculate what happens every week, but after you know everything, rewatch is kind of hard.

For me, half the draw of Madoka was being able to speculate about things each week. It had a pretty decent buildup to episode 10. Then the tsunami delays hit, and my enthusiasm for the series basically ended there.

people here didn't bite and thought that the show didnt have a good enough story to watch it basically. Which is silly but what are you gonna do.

Also, zero, dont feel bad for not being a fan of Madoka. when I finished it my overall feeling was "It was so boring up until the very very last story reveal, which was nice, but overall I don't think this was worth watching"

Monster- just finished this recently, highly rec Toradora- how could you not have watched this yet???? Future Boy Conan- really enjoyed this one as a kid. I can give more if needed. Lots of good old anime are out there! Monogatari- how could you not have watched this yet????

It just didn't capture my attention.

Madoka isn't actually that good. Many people and a certain amphibian just watch it and go "Wow, magical girl show thats dark! Someone died in episode 3! This is so novel and ground breaking!"
Panel 1 - (WEWCC 202) Gundams and Demons [F] While Iron-Blooded Orphans upholds Gundam fundamentals, it also strives to be unique. Join NoS Anime as they examine one of its best exclusive features: dangerous and demonic depictions of Gundams. Come learn how this series uses its mecha to craft a distinctly deadly take on the Gundam franchise. TRIGGERED

Made in Abyss flew by this episode. And if they give me one more cliffhanger, so help me I'm going to scream. But I will say, hype is ever mounting.

Got to see JAM project and TM Revolution again at Otakon. JAM Project this time included Crest of Z's, and TMR did Meteor! And then they both came out and sang SKILL together! The cincert made me deaf and sucked out wver ounce of energy I had, but it was so worth!

This is just a reminder that Owarimonogatari season 2, with Mayoi Hell and Hitagi Rendezvous, is now live on Crunchyroll.

Aren't crunchy's subs for the monogatari series dumpster tier though ?
|
yes. Wait for memesubs imo. They might be memes but the guys usually pull themselves together when it's monogatari + you really can see that they know the series and are fans of it by being aware of the context of situations.... or they're just getting really lucky with their translations that just happen to work out but that seems unlikely
a bit less salty of a response: It's probably the lack of deadlines and time restraint that makes the better subs. They don't have to churn this stuff out within 24hours nor do you have 10518150611916 different series you have to translate back to back but just a select few.

Zegapain isn't bad, but I might have to drop it. Episode 5 and while I understand the story, I'm not too interested in it, honestly. I'm kinda...passively watching it. Same as it was with Madoka. Just..feels bland.

I'm still waiting for Kizu 3 subs from commie so gotta wait either way. Herkz said that they're probably not doing Owari S2 so we might have to wait a long time for decent subs

Hope you'll have better luck with the next shows.

anyone still watching gamers? It's been pretty good & fun last couple episodes.
|
yeah I think it's my AoTS outside of the sequels. So basicly #2 behind New Game!! for me unless I'm somehow forgetting something massive. No Owarimonogatari doesn't count either, haven't seen it yet.
