I know her male personality went away so that his dream could live on through the female personality but did she communicate the complex nature of her personalities to her daughter? Since Mana seems to know about it, or did he somehow come back? I know the original Shiki can potentially do almost anything since she is connected to the root and female Shiki kinda compensated the loss of the Male personality but did she gain the memories from him? I know before it was stated they didn't share memories. Basically I think I have a grasp on Shiki but am unsure if its right lol. Very interesting character. | ||

Very interesting character. + Show Spoiler + So if I'm remembering right Mana speaks about two "fathers" in Mirai Fukuin, one was like Papa and dad or something like that. The one refers to her actual dad while the other she talks about made sacrifice for her(Something along those lines) that would be the male personality. This implies she knows at least some of Shiki's complexities although we don't know if she knows the full extent of it. Hell we don't even know if anyone knows coz it's all kinds of weird. I don't know if she gained his memories in the exchange. I'd like to think she didn't, that makes it feel more like a real loss. I have to watch it again but from memory that was the gist of it all. Shiki is definitely one of my favorite characters in anime. She checks so many boxes and one thing I love is you see a full character arc with her. You sit there puzzling out the mystery of her character while it shows you how she got to the point she did. Then Mirai Fukuin comes along and the most adorable little girl is shown! I want more Mana adventures and adult Shiki  | ||

yeah ultracell = supercell. The song 誰も知らない物語 (daremo shiranai monogatari, something along the lines of "the story noone knows") would usually be 君の知らない物語 (kimi no shiranai monogatari, Bakemonogatari's ending theme which translates into something like "the story you don't know") The second, like you said is radwimps (known mostly from Your Name) and yes the song would usually be zen zen zense that they turned into rai rai raise. The pun, I guess, is that zen (前) means something like "before", zense (前世) would be "previous existence" according to dictionary. Rai on the other hand is the opposite and means something like next, and I had to look this up but yes, raise is actually also a word (来世) and it basicly means the Afterlife or life after death. The others I don't know about either But it becomes even a bit more hilarious if you realize that and then hear the guy complain that he only knows anime-songs, thus (?!?!) doesn't know anything on that top5 list and is scared to pick an anime song in front of a girl. | ||
