On a different matter, second episodes of Altair and Abyss are out. + Show Spoiler [Abyss] + I don't think I liked the development that they are now looking for Riko's mom. What did they feel the need to bring in that story if they already had enough of a reason to explore the Abyss (treasure, exploration and Reg). That's hook enough in my book. I think the episode could have been a lot better without the weird info dump on Riko's mother. Well whatever, we'll see how this is going to play out. The rest of the episode was still nice. + Show Spoiler [Altair] + Weird jump from episode 1. I didn't like the introduction of Ibrahim, either. The spoken arabic language by the japanese VAs sounds hilarious. It's even worse than the engrish. The line "He is freaking fluent" would have been funny on its own but in this context it was even funnier. Overall it had some weird scenes, forced dialogue and exposition. I'm not to fond of the general quality of writing up to this point. The ending was pretty good though, finally some real tension. | ||

I mean, the problems seem stylistic. But it's not the publisher EMON; they have some okay shows, nothing this bleh. But BOTH shows are from Haoliners Animation. They work for Tencent and seem to not really suck as secondary show animators, but I'm starting to think that anything they are the primary on (for story etc) is going to wind up being... not so good. | ||

they find that Johan has two personalities. Dunno why but feels like some kind of copout lol. Just keep the, he's utterly evil storyline. The fear portion that many show is well done imo. I like the characters overall and the pacing isn't too bad IMO. Would've liked to see some flashback to the orphanage times where he turned everyone against each other and just sat back and watched. Centaur's life doesn't have the same problems; it's not the best animation I've ever seen, and the story won't blow my mind, but it's not a steaming dumpster fire like the other two seemed to be. I enjoyed A Centaur's Life ep 1 and am happy they actually have the dilemma of "Where do the pants on a centaur go?" addressed properly. | ||

You're GER ffs Seems like a lot of the stuff is revealed later . I finished the 5th movie. I like Shiki and the journey of her character and her relationship with kokuto. Might have to pick up the LNs if they are translated. It makes me hype for the KnK FGO collab event. Apparently the Shiki you get for free plays the music that is awesome from the fight scenes. | ||
