were part 2 subs ever out?
There are subs available out there in the wild.
Much like the LNs for SukaSuka are out (well, a translation of them at least which hopefully is not horrific, as there is no official translation yet). Which, the anime has served its purpose in making me want to go read them, since the anime only covers three volumes. Hopefully it does not turn out like Yamada-Kun and the Seven Witches, where the anime covered the best part of the series before it went downhill. (I read the manga, and it did in fact go downhill after the anime covered volumes.)
Almost caught up to this season.
I wonder if Japanese LNs will start getting more commercial ("official") English translations, such as those for Monogatari (official translations out through Nise part 1) have been getting as anime grows more prevalent.

As for official english releases, companies like Yen Press seem to be accelerating their pace at picking up more series so maybe?
Yen press does manga and graphic novels primarily, though. I'm looking at something like Vertical, which is doing actual light novels. (Although those are being shelved in Manga, sooo... ) Wait, Yen also does some novels.

Yen press has a lot of LNs, probably the most of any publisher atm
Aside from the big hitters like Monogatari and New Game!! this season, anime might as well be a sideproduct to understand references elsewhere. Stuff like this is where it's really at:
Hope I'll get the new season of New Game!! radio somewhere
Ok this is it. Isekai Shokudo is the first anime this season to be on the chopping block. From the synopsis I had hoped to get some Mushishi or Ghibli flair; that the anime would be more about different magical beings coming to the restaurant and change it into a magical place with lots of interactions. Instead this is just bland characters with a lot of emphasis on the cooking. Very boring because it's basically "Oishi!" - The Anime. I really don't get why you would want to make an anime out of one of the most boring tropes in anime. But from what I read here, some people like it so it seems to have an audience.
75% of the second episode I felt like.... boring. I somehow enjoyed it again at the end of the episode. I don't remember why exactly... but I dunno, it depends on the next few episodes.
Of all the isekai cafe / restaurant / bakery / pub series out there this is pretty low in the ranking for me. But sometime after a long day of dealing with merge conflict I want watch a show nothing happens to relax, so I will keep stashing them.
Just watched Hajimete no Gal and I guess it's one of the 3 shows Sent is watching this season judging by the OP + Show Spoiler [pic] +
and generally everyone else being equally well endowed. Except for that one girl voiced by Ayachi. She has no boobs. What kind of irony is that supposed to be.
The one voiced by KitaEri is real "omg I need to get an airplane ticket and punch her in the face" everytime she opens her mouth though... Let's just hope she gets really shafted
A lot of hajimete no gal ep 1 was anime original + some characters have way larger oppai for some reason, despite already being well endowed to begin with
Having to listen to those 3 guy friends all the time was REALLY cringy and not in a good way. So if that goes on for large parts of the show I'm going to drop it real quick. If instead that was just anime original for large parts (idk which parts were and which weren't) and it's just going to be ecchi oppai fanservice à la Okusama ga Seitoukaichou as a full cour I'm not too much against it.
Having to listen to another conversation that goes "chou gomene - iiyoiiyo, otsu" would be another reason to drop it though... I really can't stand that

Not watching that one, but maybe I should nm looked at it on MAL, nty. Currently Symphogear, Fate, and Knights and Magic is what I'm watching
I've discovered a series of shorts called Henkei Shoujo. I'm very impressed by them, they should make a full length series about it. Heres one of the shorts: + Show Spoiler +
