Didn't care about the villain or the story. They could have scraped the story entirely for all I care.

I just happened to have watched Empire of corpses. I genuinely thought it would be a war anime after the first minutes. I was sort of disappointed by the "crazy" story that followed.

Caught up completely to Black Clover. It's amazing and I can't wait for the anime to begin. I just hope they can do it justice. Has serious FT vibes, but people stay dead if killed. That's a plus in my book.

I also agree with Saekano's recent episode(s) being good and Miragee saying Attack on Titan is not progressing a lot is also true and annoying considering the anime is over again soon.

Damn, i actually like this season of Attack on Titan. Except for a few episodes I felt like something is actually happening, that was the main reason why I mostly stopped watching anime: So many Animes have bad pacing and way too many dialogue sequences that aren't needed and therefore extremely boring.
I felt that AoT cut those to a minimum.

+ Show Spoiler +Well, the thing is that all those things you mentioned aren't really progressing the story. Yes a little bit sure, but mostly they are dishing out new questions. Why is Eren needed? What were Reiner and the other guy, whose name I forgot, thinking? Seriously so far their explanations make very little sense and are completely contradictory.
We also spent 6 episodes or so on Eren's capture, back and forth, back and forth. Sure, it creates tension but for what reason? The season is over today anyways... In a longer season this would have been fine but now it feels like an unnecessary plot insertion with little to no new information for the viewer.
AoT's hook is mainly based on atmosphere and mystery. Mystery doesn't work if you draw it out endlessly and make multiple year breaks. I also get the feeling that they won't be able to deliver anything satisfying to answer all the questions they have thrown at us.

If S3 is 2 cour that'd explain why S2 is only 1 cour. The ending for the second season would be very akward if it were 25 episodes and they probably wouldn't be able to do 30+ episodes back to back.
Devilman key visual is out.
Devilman is one of the most influential manga ever and it's getting a full adaptation directed by Masaaki Yuasa and yet not many people seem to care about it

They prob just sticking to shorter seasons so quality doesn't dip. There are very few studios that manage to handle long running series with consistently good quality.

According to MAL Yuasa is only doing a 20 minute ONA. I think this was the reason why I didn't put it on my ptw list when it was announced. But now that I have looked at the page more closely it seems it's going to be a series, not a short movie. That is definitely welcome, even if I have no idea what to expect from Devilman.
Unrelated: I've started Jormungand, 2 eps in. Seems pretty cringe-worthy, I'm not sure I want to finish it. I guess I'm going to give it one more episode.
I've queued up Aoi Bungaku and Now & Then, Here & There for DL. That might take a while though.

Huh, I thought it was going to be a movie, or short OVA thing like Cyborg009 vs Devilman. If its going to actually be a full series adaptation, sign me up! Uncle Go stuff is always a fun ride!

Quan Zhi Gao Shou is over for now. + Show Spoiler +Awesome music in the last episode, definitely one of the best shows this season. The ending episode didn't conclude much but I'm okay with it. MC going for the comeback now and I guess he creates his own pro team later in the show.
There apparently is going to be a second season 2018 which is cool.

i heard rumors about it actually being a game in development, is that real?because the things you can do in the show version of game seem crazy, using gun fire to propel urself into the air like wtf has is that balanced at all
