Five hundred years have passed since the humans went extinct at the hands of the fearsome and mysterious 'Beasts.' The surviving races now make their homes up on floating islands in the sky, out of reach of all but the most mobile of Beasts.
Only a small group of young girls, the Leprechauns, can wield the ancient weapons needed to fend off invasions from these creatures. Into the girls' unstable and fleeting lives, where a call to certain death could come at any moment, enters an unlikely character: a young man who lost everything in his final battle five hundred years ago, the last living human awakened from a long, icy slumber.
Unable to fight any longer, Willem becomes the father that the girls never had, caring for and nurturing them even as he struggles to come to terms with his new life, in which he feels the pain of helplessly waiting for his loved ones to return home from battle that his 'Daughter' once felt for him so long ago. Together, Willem and the girls gradually come to understand what family means and what is truly worth protecting.

Also when it comes to Monogatari Bake is solid, Nise is the weakest but a lot of the best stuff is in 2nd season, Owari, and Kizu.

That's impossible. There's no sign of bloatware in Tsukigakirei.

so decided to start watching DanMachi by myself as well... and I have no idea what this is but I think they screwed up the subs? I'm getting | signs instead of spaces all the time, like this:
+ Show Spoiler [spoiler?] +
what's up with that? It's probably in every 2nd or 3rd phrase... I just went for the HS version btw
|
I saw people bitching about that too, apparently just an oversight not removing them. Apparently they are used early on in the process but get removed later? Idr but they were talking about it on reddit when it came out.
Lol @ the ss you took to show it though.

oh lol just realized what's on the screenshot as well. I should probably change that real quick, not like there's a lack of it

Elves and Amazons~ the Danmachi top tiers.

Attack on Titan s2 Ep.3 + Show Spoiler + So there was no hole in the wall of Maria but several titans, the ones the captain died from and this group that are attacking the castle at night time. Either someone is turning people into titans(Conny hearing the titan talking) or someone is experimenting on titans and now they are free. I am going with the first. Monkey titan fucking shit up maybe that is why the titans can move at night.
Also theory time: What if this whole overarching story thing is similar to Evangelion. Somewhere in the middle of the city there is some sort of Titan God locked away and the titans are trying to reach it. Slowly the titans have tried to find/get to it. and something about human titans i dunno.

honestly wasn't too impressed with the first DanMachi episode myself. But mostly because I don't have an idea about how "hard" the region they were at is supposed to be. + Show Spoiler +So they're at lv50, which is the safezone, the monsters are from lv51 and it looks like they're in trouble and then when the mage fails they just show that they were basicly just playing around and everything gets just oneshotted and noone really ever was in danger. Case in point: the amazon girl that looked like she was about to get hentai'd just grabbing inside the bugs with all the acid like it's nothing.
Maybe lv50 is really still that easy for them and they're just going through that area to push their lower level guys a bit, like that mage, but as of now it just felt weird for me to have all those guys ACTUALLY play along, put on an act and look like they're in trouble. Felt out of character, especially for the furry monk (?) guy. I would have expected him to have a really bored look while not willing to play along if it was really still that much below them

I would have expected him to have a really bored look while not willing to play along if it was really still that much below them + Show Spoiler + They were on their way to the lower levels, that was just going to be their base of operations for the real expedition further down to try to explore past what is known. Its still really deep into the dungeon The problem with those monsters was a) they melt weapons (they had to cancel their trip because they lost so much stuff) and b) there were a lot of them. Remember that only like 4-5 of their members are lvl 5+ so yes a lot of their troop was vulnerable to getting killed there. Since they have the strongest mage they had some lee way there, which is why she tried to get the other elf to do it as a confidence booster (she has the power just not the mentality atm).
They weren't out of character, a lot of the lower levels (plus their supporters and the smiths) were in very real danger plus those were monsters they had never seen before who were eating their weapons so there was a little fear at first because they had to deal with them in unconventional ways. The top tiers were more or less fine and did most of the fighting and Finn worked things out but in the dungeon it is always considered prudent to be as safe as possible.

Is anyone watching Armed Girls Machiavellianism (sp)? A harem is being built. And it's really not that bad. Fan service galore, but still, not bad.
Also, Boruto is decent. Apparently + Show Spoiler +Boruto activated a certain type of Byakugan that allows him to see the negative chakra/emotions. Only Sasuke knows about it and no one has said anything to Hinata or Naruto. Which means dead parents.

idk man, the part you put in spoilers kinda makes it sound bad to me. :|
+ Show Spoiler + other than the fact that killing naruto & hinata would be terrible, sasuke would probably go into emo-mode for not saving his friend and keeping secrets and whatnot.

If you think about it, it opens the plot. I think at the moment, it's headed towards the movie and then they'll either run it through the anime, or skip it and refer to the anime. So we can skip about 15 episodes, but it'll be filler mostly.

i kinda feel like it would open up the plot for sasuke-gaiden not boruto :D
haven't seen the movie o.o

I am
all these 5 sword girls suck though. This show needs more kirukiru Amou
Shokugeki 212 + Show Spoiler + Alright, now we know that souma will win next chapter but I'm curious how to make yakisoba better than regular soba.
