Is it just me, or has their CG improved since Sidonia? It was always kinda janky, but it seems a little less so now. IIRC I was told to read the VN cause hanakana was a "main character" in it. So I just went with an impression that I should like her =\. Oh well. The common route and kotori was a good take from that. | ||

Yukarin's two most defining roles are Nanoha from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, and Rika from Higurashi, although she has many great roles | ||

fwiw, I've made a VA spreadsheet for myself trying to associate characters to VAs but even then, it's rather hard for me to recognize voices unless I look them up on MAL. e.g. the two roles you mentioned for Yukarin idek but she did Jibril (NGNL) and Masuzu (Oreshura), both charas I like, so it becomes slightly relatable then. I'll try to look up Nanoha and Rika clips on YT. Ty Sent. | ||

Other than that, I can't recognize voice actors' names, other than noting that some voices are similar from different characters. ... Well, also the English dub VAs. I know some of them because there were like, 3 male voices for half of the 90s dubs. | ||

Nyaruko-san) and probably Yuno from Hidamari Sketch? There's a ton i like from her but I wouldn't exactly call it major roles, such as Marika (Nisekoi), Ene (Mekakucity actors), Chihiro (Kaminomi), Popura (Working!!) etc Noto and Hayamin are probably the ones most consider to be the easiest to recognize I'd say? Not a noto fan myself so i don't know about her but Hayamin would be Yukino (OreGairu), Ononoki (the girl with the green hair from Monogatari) etc? Toyosaki Aki, autism-chan (K-On) Iguchi Yuka, Tsukihi (Monogatari) Ayachi, Kirino (OreImo) and for Emnjay: Kayanon, Shiro (NGNL) but there are a couple I sometimes struggle to figure out. KitaEri (Karen from Monogatari, Sayaka from Madoka) has a striking ability to sometimes sound NOTHING like KitaEri at all imo. I'd say thats a compliment given her line of work. Her male voices are kind of unique (Mahiro from Nyaruko-san for example) and easy to spot for me but the female ones can really vary a lot. Speaking of male/female voices, the male ones in general are probably easier to figure out since there are less people to gush over? At least my impression with way less 20-something cutesy people getting in for a couple years never to be heard again later and instead more stable VAs that get roles forever. Maybe it's just because I'm a guy though and I just don't pay enough attention for that. Like, it's super easy to figure out the guy who voiced Kaiki (sorry, I can't remember your name no matter how much I like your voice  ), Matsuoka and everyone else therebut really, if you want to get the most good-VA per minute exposure you watch working!! events. Those are the definition of voicetraps imo: | ||
