Trickster was so-so. Some things were pretty cringe-worthy, other things were alright. It also has a nice hook but terrible fanservice. Nice coincidence that they are also using Ranpo's 20 Faces here because I'm also watch Daughter of 20 Faces, eh.

Osaka is just a smaller version of Tokyo. Kyoto on the other hand has more things to see than you'd have in one week.

Both this and Kancolle are browsergames (both on DMM if I'm not mistaken? I think I saw their name somewhere in the episode) with Kancolle obviously being ww2 ships turned into cute girls and this apparently being famous swords being turned into hot (?) guys.
I managed to watch the entire episode and while I haven't played it, the things I did recognize did really look like Kantai Collection to me. Like the orange chuuha after the mission, the repair docks with them only being allowed to repair two swords/boats at a time prompting one of the guys to say that the Admiral/Master should buy more repair space/docks and all.
In that sense it's probably way closer to Kantai Collection and I personally don't think the "background genre" really matters for this kind of thing. Be it boats, swords or whatever else really
