At this point, I feel like it's more or less impossible to top Sono Chi no Sadame and Bloody Stream. They were so perfect for their respective parts both visually and song-wise.
In retrospect, Stand Proud was pretty good, and it definitely grew on me as I heard it more. End of the World was suitably sinister for the end of Part 3. It only became amazing during Dio's World for obvious reasons.
I like the disco theme for Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town, but the visuals are really lacking. Chase is also my least favorite of all the OPs.
It's kinda funny, but I feel like the CG OPs were a lot better.

Watched Darkside Blues. What was the purpose of the story? Seemed pretty random. Lots of topics and story points without proper connection, development or solutions. hm.
//just watched Stranger of the Sword with a friend. That was freaking fantastic. Loved the animation, so smooth and lively. Nice choreography at times as well. The story was tight, the characters charming. I especially liked the interaction between Kotaru and Mr. No Name and how they grew together. The soundtrack and sounddirecting was fantastic as well, except for 2-3 hickups when changing scenes.

though to be fair, that's obviously after the fact. It also seems like something I'm going to enjoy, so kinda looking forward to it

Gundam: IBO was really good, the intro and timeskip run through was great, it really sets up the season and I'm hoping it delivers.
I was surprised by Shuumatsu no Izetta, only one episode in but I'm intrigued atleast.

Funny how I enjoyed the start to Alderamin and it ended up being so average, and I almost dropped Mob/91 days and they both ended up being my favorites of the season

Izetta 1st episode was fine. Scared that the Magic might ruin the initial setting :/
WW2 settings are always welcomed!
Bubuki S2 episode 1 was meh... but again, the first season wasn't extraordinary neither

Anyone have any prospective opinions on the Drifters adaptation?
I remember trying to read the manga as it was being published but I generally cba to wait for long release schedules.

If it's like Hellsing, it'll suck. If it's like Hellsing Ultimate, it won't suck.
I'm leaning towards the former, considering it's a TV adaptation this time. That said, I'd gladly be wrong.

I got through about 10 minutes and then just went to watch the Magical Girl Raising Project. That one at least made it through the episode.

I get the feeling that The Daughter of 20 Faces is going to become a trainwreck. Which is sad because the first 7 episodes were pretty cool. The last two had terrible villains though, they are reviving characters out of nowhere etc. : / Whelp, have to see how it develops from now on.

ya'll just haters. Haven't watched ep1 of Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru yet but I fully trust Doga Kobo. Really, when WAS the last time they did something that sucked outside of maybe gj-bu.
