+ Show Spoiler [Daughter of 20 Faces ep13] +I think this would have been far better if the whole show was about 20 Face's group doing missions and Chiko learning stuff. Right now, this is so very frustrating to watch...
Then they add all this supernatural stuff and they even try to make that supernatural stuff look like sci-fi. This is bollocks.
Oh well, 20 Faces disappears again, 9 more episodes to go. Maybe I should drop this.
//Dropped this shit after ep15 now. I can't stand it anymore, it's too stupid. I can't even remember when I last dropped a show from my backlog... Way to run a show into a wall and slap the viewer again and again and again.

17 fucking light novels and in the end I don't even get a fucking kiss. Hasekura you suck. I hate you and your stupid medieval economics.

You talking about Spice and Wolf? Pretty sure there are kisses in it and they are married with a kid on the way in the last vol lol.

Nah when he tries she slaps him in vol 16. Then at the end of 17 Holo talks about taking vows and he's like "hellllllls yea". Haven't read Epilogue but really if you call a book Epilogue it should be after the conclusion. Conclusion demands kiss and rabid sex!@(*&
Just been waiting for this moment for so long and rather disappointed in the ending even though it was really sweet and heartwarming.

Numy is just too spoiled from Monogatari. I don't think he even wants to see it or it being an explicit description of what goes down. Just a mere acknowledgement that one has female bodyparts, the other male ones (or whatever really, I'm quite openminded) and it's going to happen in a relationship instead of that bullshit "we're holding hands and that's it"
Never really got why you apparently have to leave stuff like that out.
oh god thinking about this made me remember Nisekoi. I was SO angry when ZNF made me read the last chapter. Really haven't read in a while so chances are I'm missing out because everything I don't know between end of s2 and end of manga but basicly iirc what happens is + Show Spoiler +timeskip into the future where he marries + Show Spoiler [massive spoiler] + and you get to see everyone else and how they're dealing with that. Like Marika going through meeting a lot of guys to find someone even better than Raku, Onodera comming to terms with it etc. And in the end there IS a kiss. But like I said, they're marrying and it's like "oh right if we marry we should try that at least once, right?" and that's basicly the end. Like seriously what's that supposed to be. You marry someone and on the day you take the vow you kiss her/him for the first time? Fucking bullshit

That wasn't the first time.

Toad gets me. You lived with these characters for so long, witnessed their grieve and love for each other. Then finally they acknowledge it's alright to love even if it'll be just a fleeting moment. Yet after all this there's no final physical bonding. It doesn't have to be explicit, how male genitals interact with female. It can just be something that "fades to black" even.
Just feels disappointing this is never even mentioned. That's one part I loved about Owari. When she finally accepts who she is, both aspects, there's that sweet moment between them physically and emotionally. It completes the whole relationship.
At the end of the day romantic relationship has a physical component. If that's never present what is the difference between romantic relationship and a close friendship?

Just looked like + Show Spoiler +the first kiss with how startled they were and all . But even then I'd want a bit more than a kiss for two people marrying. Like numy said, a scene that implies it is fine. Or them waking up together the next morning without actually seeing anything would be totally fine with me

I get this if we're talking about some stuff that's going to be watched by 12 year olds (and in that case I guess I can't really get too mad about Nisekoi because the Manga probably does sell to young people as well?) but even then at least a kiss should be fine. But other than that I really don't understand why they have to downright ignore the physical component of it. Not just in anime, it's the same with pretty much every Romance film/movie I've ever seen on TV. Can't speak for "normal" books since I'm not exactly a fan of it and thus haven't read any.

I'm pissed he didn't do anything with lacus except a kiss on the cheek and a hug.

What are you referring to here?
I guess we are different. Vol 17 of S&W has plenty enough for me.+ Show Spoiler + Has multiple pics of them kissing and has stuff like them flirting together while in the bath together and Holo literally throwing a banquet to show off being pregnant to her "rivals". Was glorious. Not to mention the pics of Holo in a wedding dress.

I'm rather intrigued by Occultic;Nine. I never finished Steins;Gate but I did watch YLIA and I have faith that this show could be pretty decent as a result.
Somewhat related, is Euphonium appealing beyond the moe aspect?
