captaingirl is alright. if you look at it from the world's point of view then it makes enough sense that she stalks him. their local community is not that big (i mean their personal relationships), the pilot community is pretty small and the ace community is even smaller, throw in a few personal connections and a bit of a loner mc, its not really weird that she tacks herself onto him like just about everyone else wants to. + Show Spoiler +
come to mention harem girls, that reminds me that the whole scientistgirl possession thing hasn't even been touched since like episode 1 , so i'm guessing there is a 3rd season for sure to address all that. i'm wondering then what will happen about izana, he obviously confessed to her that he's still into tsugomori and rejected her, i wonder which of them is gonna die then to give closure to the other. he def has to get laid soon is what i'm saying one way or another. they can't have another season of him living with izano platonically. so either tsugomori dies and he moves on or izana dies and WE move on.
its only by ep11 am i managing to confirm that whitehairgirl who i thought was killed but i guess was possessed instead , well she is actually piloting tsugomori or she goes inside her or what the hell? she is inside her but you dont hear from her barely at all. its hard to figure out just from occaisional random shots. im fine waiting around until things get explained but not when they introduce the mindwashing thing 10 eps ago and dont address it whatsoever still. i was expecting it to be addressed this season but come to think of it we had like 5 hours of harem instead (which i enjoyed and was really well done but yeah scientistgril was pretty cool once upon a time)
ive only seen 3 eps of love live and dont know any names but obviously the twintail loli has won already idk how that is a question. i guess you like the harder to get grils lol. tastes are weird.
Only weakness of the anime is how aweful the CGI looks a lot of the time when animating people. Iirc the show has followed the manga story pretty closely.

I had a feeling that Yokamaru was plotting some kind of an attack. Even when he first saved them, he had this sly look in his eyes. The way he gave away their position in the first fight with those invaders before the Hornet colony came to help them (in the forest) showed that he's the type of person that only considers his own survival at the sake of others.
The whole Marie and Mamarou thing as well. I figured that maybe they'll survive, but, one of them will go wild over something and that'll be a lesson as to why they need to be careful about fiends and karma demons, but, to hear that they had a kid who was raised by queerats and is a fiend? Then they say that it was the queerat who saved Mamarou that managed to bring them the kid, this messiah, wow. Now, here I sit, 22 episodes in while they are in Tokyo trying to find some biological weapon and wonder what happened to Marie and Mamarou. Did they get drugged and then the queerats mind controlled them or something like the queen? Seems pretty plausible.
It has always saddened me though that the humans never feared the queerats. I mean, sure they may not have cantus but considering that they were speculating about them having a false minoshiro, you would think they'll take that seriously. Having knowledge of all military tactics, what makes cantus users weak, basically, any and all available information (petabytes!) should've made them feel something much faster imo. This anime has been pretty impressive so far.
you wouldnt figure it but i think sidonia is probably one of the funniest anime. there are a LOT of harem scenes in s2 and i laugh out loud at like every single one of them, very well done. and they are always different/surpising. in just this episode alone + Show Spoiler +

Elfen Lied is pretty suffering (and not really good). If you want "Dark" EL seems almost like those movies that intentionally try to disgust you at times with the gratuitous violence/gore and messed up situations (and the manga is worse).

the movie was good i guess, it was going really well then it fucked it up hardcore at one point and went full retard mode (you'll know when it happens) but if you like gantz/battle royale then you gotta watch dis. really didnt expect to get live action gantz when i started it

Really glad that at least Satoru stayed alive with Saki. Would've been sad otherwise. I really wish we got more information on Maria and Mamarou though. It's likely they got killed and their child was taken from them, but, I want to know how? Was it some ambush? We also never got some information about the false minoshiro and how Squealer managed to catch it! All important information that the anime didn't mention.
However, what I will say is this, I KNEW IT! lol. I had a feeling that the queerats were related to humans even since the foreign invaders from episode 4 were said to look similar to humans. It was interesting to hear that they oppressed the hunters and commoners that couldn't use PK by changing their genes so that they can still continue running their own society with attack inhibition and death feedback while making sure they have control over the other humans.
Pretty sad though. Despite being sad about Squealer handled the whole situation, I honestly can't blame him for it. It's like Kimimaru said, we have to consider the survival of the colony especially when you consider that current society can easily have a change in heart and wipe out a whole colony in the blink of an eye. Squealer was pretty much a genius when it came to organizing this war. Traps, surrounds, confusion, fear, even using a cantus user that has no death feedback to humans. It was also great to see Shun guide Saki and that they remember him. I'll probably write more in a blog to sum up all my posts and more later on but a bit for now.

Yeah, there are still a lot of questions that are left unanswered. I think the source material gives a bit more detail on what happened with Maria and Mamarou but didn't explicitly give much from what I hear. The treatment of the Queerats is rather reprehensible. Squealer's revelation really transformed him and I can't really blame him for what he did. The guy really was clever and reminded me of Hitler in some ways (though I don't think his vision of the world was quite as negative as Hitler's). In the end I think his arrogant and self-absorbed nature ultimately led to his failure in Tokyo. If he had taken more precautions he would have likely never lost in the end. I thought the town's punishment of him was way overboard, the guy did an awful thing but their punishment is also awful. Glad he was freed eventually. It seems like it took some time for Saki to truly forgive him even though she understood his plight. Many of the townspeople never forgave him; never even tried to understand his position. I feel like the town is a great example of the possible dangers of living in ignorance.

I'm pretty sure I remember an omake with all the dead chars in heaven watching saki from a TV in a kotatsu and it included the dead kid, maybe its in the manga adaptaion, I could be wrong.
lol it was sad regardless of who survived. saki and wotshisname might aswell have been the queerrats (when they broke the rules they were as helpless and disposable as the queerrats) .
the memory wipe thing really took me by surprise. i would have been expecting them to go on the run and to explore the "outside of the wall" together before returning to confront their makers. but having them just straight up memory wipe to continue the story was a twist.
i wonder how things changed in the future. did they spread the truth that queerrates are humans and should be given equal rights? did they stop killing like 50% of the community's children? i'm guessing they made some progress toward it. having a shitload of those cats i guess they domesticated them instead of using them as enfoircement tools
