they don't try to make any clear good guy/bad guy, from start to finish.
noteably saki wasn't very likable from the start . she starts off capturing this innocent creature then says shes gonna rip it to pieces .
most of the anime everyone is falling over themselves saying how strong and amazing she is and how they will die to protect her, when in "reality" she is pretty normal, infact completely fucks up their endgame by burning the goddamn virus to save whathisface which is like the most antihero thing you can do by that point.
even though she's not likeable, the fact that its realistic in that sense is big bonus points from me. the whole point of the anime is that humans are pretty shitty, even the so-called good ones can be a bit shitty, or shameless.

There just isn't much to talk about. It's a fun silly show that has some really good CGI. That's it lol. It does everything it needs to do well. I didn't find any ep particularly bad myself but every show has some weaker eps anyway.
edit: Started reading Spice and Wolf Side Colors 2. I thought it would be alright to start there again but dammit why are these feelings so sad! Seeing a young innocent Eve is just arg. Can't handle.

I've already said it but Etotama is great and snake episode is best recap episode of any recap episode ever to my knowledge. I think at least. Anime are getting stronger in their recap episode game.

you wouldnt figure it but i think sidonia is probably one of the funniest anime. there are a LOT of harem scenes in s2 and i laugh out loud at like every single one of them, very well done. and they are always different/surpising. in just this episode alone + Show Spoiler +

I got really tired of all the harem scenes in Sidonia though. Yuhata is really annoying and is tacked on for no reason. The only good things about Sidonia s2 is the ep 11-12 fight and tsumugi. Though bondage gear was quite good as well
I had a feeling that Yokamaru was plotting some kind of an attack. Even when he first saved them, he had this sly look in his eyes. The way he gave away their position in the first fight with those invaders before the Hornet colony came to help them (in the forest) showed that he's the type of person that only considers his own survival at the sake of others.
The whole Marie and Mamarou thing as well. I figured that maybe they'll survive, but, one of them will go wild over something and that'll be a lesson as to why they need to be careful about fiends and karma demons, but, to hear that they had a kid who was raised by queerats and is a fiend? Then they say that it was the queerat who saved Mamarou that managed to bring them the kid, this messiah, wow. Now, here I sit, 22 episodes in while they are in Tokyo trying to find some biological weapon and wonder what happened to Marie and Mamarou. Did they get drugged and then the queerats mind controlled them or something like the queen? Seems pretty plausible.
It has always saddened me though that the humans never feared the queerats. I mean, sure they may not have cantus but considering that they were speculating about them having a false minoshiro, you would think they'll take that seriously. Having knowledge of all military tactics, what makes cantus users weak, basically, any and all available information (petabytes!) should've made them feel something much faster imo. This anime has been pretty impressive so far.

watched wake up girls a while back. What's up? It's not too bad though make sure you watch the 1 hr ova or w/e it was that showed how the group got together if you plan on watching it
