Dat ending lol. I feel like the mystery pretty much disappeared once he discovered more information about why Mei was isolated. Maybe its just me but it felt like the show was trying to draw our attention to the dolls, a lot early on because its related to Mei but then they stopped. I would've liked to actually see them utilize all that stuff some more. For example, the doll that fell when the MC was taking to Mei in the doll shop, if they made some changes to it, it can easily resemble one of the dead characters. It would stir the show in a different direction though. One thing they did well is the atmosphere. The music set it up pretty well and the desperation among the students after hearing the recording was chilling. Due to my experience with horror movies, I kept on expecting something to jump out haha but nothing ever did  The MC killing Meiko was something... I knew something was off about her but I wasn't sure what it was. Good anime and would recommend though I would caution those with weak stomachs about some of the really bloody and disturbing scenes. | ||

Not that it even tried to work in mystery. | ||
