Though it's weird I enjoyed the movie and I can see the series will slowly chip away at my ignorance until I find enlightenment in the end. Assuming the series doesn't have an open ending that is, which with it being artistic and philosophical isn't too unlikely.
For those who have watched the series, does it end after 7 or are they planning to make more? If 7 is the last movie I will probably go through the rest over the week or so otherwise I will hold off. It "finishes" after 7 but there is an epilogue that is just Shiki talking about herself. They made another movie that takes place somewhere in the timeline of the 6th but isn't really apart of the story that 7 tell, it also had a short segment at the end that happens in the future. Also has the most adorable little daughter along with hot milf. Don't go insulting Shiki!. She's one of the best girls in anime! I think she likes ice cream but wanted to eat it with him just he's too clueless to get her hints and she's too bad at socializing to tell him straight. Kara no kyoutai + Show Spoiler +Things change as the serie progresses! I'm only at Movie #5 and I grew to love the show! Can't stand Kokutou though. He doesn't deserve Shiki, for Shiki is the superior woman!
+ Show Spoiler +I have to agree with Numy here. Kokutou isn't bad at all. He is an idealist to the core but he fits the story and is done rather well. I would say he is a "Shirou" done right. I also think he fits Shiki, so there is that as well.

Its not simply a case of being a serial killer psychopath. Not even close. I would wait to watch the whole series, understand the chronology of events watching the movies in production order and then ask questions. Otherwise you will just be spoilered and most of it wont make sense to you anyway.
This.

Studio Wit never ceases to amaze me when it comes to their animation in Seraph. How high is their budget? 500$ per episode? lol All those non-moving pictures in the fighting scenes. But they moved some hair! Amazing, rofl.

It's a pity since the background art is gorgeous. Well story isn't really good either but man the background art ok.

2199 movie is out with subs now for anyone who is interested.

If you understand the concept and basis of her dual personalities, you will understand how much she is into him. The light novel explains concepts better but the movie, particularly the fifth is REALLY good.

Well, it looks quite good but when I compare it to something like Kekkai Sensen it really looks lazy. Although the art is easily the best thing in this show. Not that this is difficult when everything else is trash. To be honest, this show's plot/characters are even below A/Z level and the show doesn't even have high production values to save the day. Might be one of the worst things I forced myself to watch. Sometimes I wonder where this masochism-touch comes from.

Also, mysterious women are often quite intriguing at least initially. I'm still waiting for a kuudere girl to show up and give me magical powers or take me on adventures across the universe or a girl to take me as her child and take me to the world of burst linkers lolol, best parent, amirite?

While it's cute and funny, I'd be enjoying it a lot more if the main gorilla didn't run into danger and have to save someone every other episode. I swear to god, he must live in the most dangerous city in all of Japan.

Nowhere near as dangerous as Beika

I also tried 2 episodes of Pleiades recently. I think I'll continue when I'm bored. EP 1 wasn't very good, but in EP 2 things got more interesting.
