At least you watched the best arc. That and, arguably, the last one was the best. Including the imouto one. The "true/real" arc was the best actually.

I found an anime called Tetsuwan Birdy Decode that I'm going to check out. I've never heard of it so I have exactly zero expectations. I have no idea what I'm in for.

Numy's dreams are getting more and more rekt every episode.(the dream full Yuri is dead since Reina is also not fully into clams after all) What a great episode as expected. Also can't wait till Reina silences ribbon-chan out.

Decode is the sequel. Tetsuwan Birdy (Birdy the Mighty) is the first.
And it's a fairly good series, with nice action sequences, and isn't nearly as generic or awful as the premise should sound (female-alien-supersoldier sharing a body with a teenage boy).
Has some weird sequences (especially in the sequel) where they forgo a lot of character an environment detail for extreme animation detail.

No they don't. They're distinctively different.
Different clothing. Different face. Different hair.
Their body build is similar though.

+ Show Spoiler +This week's ep was solid as usual. Loved how Reina didn't go the "emo/going to be bullied" route. Instead just shit talks bitch loli. Really enjoying how close Reina and Kumiko have gotten and able to talk about more personal stuff so closely, dunno how I feel about the student-teacher love thing. Maybe it's just some phase or whatever that she can work out of, or get shot down instantly by the teacher. Natsuki so good this week too :3. Such understanding senpai. Just because you're 1 year older, doesn't automatically mean you're the fucking best at everything. Asuka so good too o/ Performing to the entire class as the second audition should probably be enough to convince just about everyone except bitch loli that Reina is better. I can't see it as a popularity contest as those that are against it are a small vocal and bitchy minority anyways. Nothing against Kaori herself, she accepted that Reina played better, but I don't blame her for taking ez second chance at it. Others that were salty about audition results were hesitant to raise hand for second audition once they knew it was class wide (or maybe just did it off screen for Kaori's dramatic moment). Wonder how far they're going to adapt this. I think we're still supposed to be in volume 1.

Ha I love Mikagura. + Show Spoiler +Otone attacking Seisa was nice. Ghost stuff wasn't that interesting but else a good episode. Hope we ge learn anything about Seisa next episode, would be a shame if Otone's attacking was for nothing. :D I would love the three on the same club, but it's not gonna happen I guess.

So I tried out the first movie of Kara no Kyoukai. I knew right away it was going to be weird when Shiki said she didn't like ice cream. I mean what kind of woman doesn't like ice cream? It's an artistic movie so I suppose precedence requires it to be weird. Also philosophical tied with artistic is bound to be weird. Though it's weird I enjoyed the movie and I can see the series will slowly chip away at my ignorance until I find enlightenment in the end. Assuming the series doesn't have an open ending that is, which with it being artistic and philosophical isn't too unlikely.
For those who have watched the series, does it end after 7 or are they planning to make more? If 7 is the last movie I will probably go through the rest over the week or so otherwise I will hold off.

the series had budget and closure issues, and its rather a remake than a sequel imo, manga has 2 versions as well...
that said, unique and cool animation for fights good openings, pretty nice story overall and unexpectedly cruel and bloody (season 2)
