It "finishes" after 7 but there is an epilogue that is just Shiki talking about herself. They made another movie that takes place somewhere in the timeline of the 6th but isn't really apart of the story that 7 tell, it also had a short segment at the end that happens in the future. Also has the most adorable little daughter along with hot milf. Don't go insulting Shiki!. She's one of the best girls in anime! I think she likes ice cream but wanted to eat it with him just he's too clueless to get her hints and she's too bad at socializing to tell him straight. It was annoying at first, but when things started to make sense, it was mindblowing! Oh, stalker girl is dead. She was kind of cute but pretty wtf and creepy at the same time. I liked how Shinichi went ape-shit afterwards but didn't manage to tear up - for a moment I thought he would manage to do so. I felt like the writers constantly tried to confuse me just for the sake of it, which highly annoys me. I honestly love movies/shows/books that are hard to understand and have this "explore the meaning" part to them. The random flashbacks/flashforwards all the time didn't add anything to the experience. I knew what generally was going on but I was totally lost when it came to determining which part was supposed to happen at which time in the time-line. I assume this was done on purpose but like I said. It felt like it was done just to confuse me as a watcher. It was quite the same for GitS: Innocence, but KnK 5 was way worse in that regard (GitS in others). There is a difference between natural confusion with good writing where making connections feels like a pleasure and confusion created by randomness. However, this was certainly not the only thing that annoyed me while watching KnK 5. | ||
