Long story shot I ended up marathoning it (as well as OVA, as well as 2nd season), wasn't amazing but I enjoyed it. 7/10 for me. Kind of funny considering that Saber is literally the only reason I even considered getting into Fate stuff to begin with, and Prisma Illya doesn't really have her. I do like Rin (who I kept calling "the not-Saber-girl" for the first 3 episodes) now as well though. Now with that done I actually want to watch Fate Zero, so getting into that right now. First episode was pretty nice even if I can't remember all the names of the guys that somewhat look alike. I'm pretty sure I had times when I mixed them up as well while watching  God damn it, that ED (? maybe OP starting from later on, idk) might be the first LiSA song that I don't like... | ||

Well I ended up watching F/Z 1st because I didn't know and it ended up fine BUT it is better to watch FSN before (UBW and later the HF movie) before watching Zero. I would just say play the VN but iirc you aren't into VNs. Just don't watch the original FSN anime as it was pretty terror at times unless you really want to see Saber's route. | ||

Super uncomfortable for me and I want actual paper in my hands while sitting on a couch or something like that when reading... so playing the VNs isn't going to happen unless I really love it and play it afterwards. She only takes the spotlight in FSN in the Fate route and anime adaptation got murdered by Deen. | ||
