ofc IRL it's not good irl cause a bunch of reasons but it's interesting on stories :D yeah I get that. It's just funny that you're singling out something like cheating as "weird". And yes, it's socially looked down upon but let's be honest, it's a common thing and socially accepted (in that it exists and probably always will) despite it being an awful thing to do. Teacher falls in love with student however would be much more down the road of something being weird for most peole, hence me calling it an forbidden-love element (Magic Jesus anyone?). Obviously not as much as NTR/Incest/polygamy but still i mean when i meant weird it's the weird that it's not the usual thing you'd see on manga/anime romances which are incest/polygamy/ntr .
not really cause it's more morally acceptable than the other or something like that .. It's just that those are more rare than the teacher-student thing that's why i called it weird.
Also that statement was more about my intention to clear out that there's NTR/Incest/polygamy/something similar to that since i have an impression that you guys think whatever i fancy currently always had those kind of themes/element. So i just wanna clear that out that i doesn't lol. Or you guys are just ridiculing me about that but hey just to make sure.

world trigger is going pretty well, a little draggy because it is going to chase up to the latest mange pretty soon lol i wonder if they are going to end the season somewhere before that or going anime original (unlikely though).

I thought the current invasion arc is finished in the manga?

If they choose to drag as much as One Piece currently does, then + Show Spoiler +Osamu will not reach the HQ headquarter until christmas. ... Basically it all depends on how much stuff the anime is allowed to show. If the manga is too close then they can drag the plot like crazy if they have to. Like, I would never have imagined a speed like in One Piece right now, but now I know better.

Don't worry goody I will support you!
Though I don't think teacher - student is as incriminating as NTR, Incest, or polygamy so I'm not seeing the forbidden aspect of it outside of workplace rules. I think it happens more frequently as well?
Also, magic Jesus made incest legal by taking away all the genetic diseases from miyuki. #Worth

UFO:
+ Show Spoiler +They kill off yuri route and have a moment that is pretty gay in the same episode, it's honestly quite frustrating but I guess I'll take it anyway.

On the note of teachers, after Totsuka the teacher is the best girl in oregairu

Shuichi might as well be a cardboard cutout labeled "childhood friend" compared to how much Reina x Kumiko got developed. And the original novel can fuck off since they cut out most of Shuichi's characterization from it anyway.

Oh well, UFO you could have been great but instead like classic Kyoani you'll end like garbage.

Well, I don't think there is a "forbidden love" aspect, either. And the outcry certainly depends on how it goes. We had a PE teacher at our school (and he did really good PE imho) that had a student as his girlfriend. There was no outcry at first, students talked a bit about it but that was about it. The problem that occured later on was that she was in his courses and he was giving her excellent grades. The good grades themselves aren't a problem but one would never know if it is because she deserves it or because she gets preferential treatment. He got a warning, he got a second warning and then he got laid off. And I can fully understand that. What I don't understand is why he/they didn't try to move her away from his courses at all cost. The problem was never about them being together...

High school teacher+teenager and University Teacher+Student are quite a bit different.

Was this high school? If it was how was he not immediately fired? Schools usually have really strict rules about high school teachers never dating students, not to mention the legal implications for those who are considered minors. As far as I know most universities also have rules in place discouraging professors + students and even graduate students + professors is highly discouraged in most cases (though its not too uncommon for it to happen regardless).

It's really easy to frame that as teacher taking advantage over a minor, which would be considered rape thus it being absolutely no-go.

Ahem, I'm not too familiar with the terms like "high school" etc. when it comes to age of the students. I was at an "Integrierte Gesamtschule" which probably combines middle school and highschool. You enter it after elementary school (after 4th grade) and leave after the 9th, 10th, 11th or 13th grade depending on the graduation one is aiming for. I believe his girlfriend was a senior student (so 11th-13th grade) and was 18 when they started dating. I'm not entirely sure on this though.
//anyways, I finished up the first season of Chihayafuru. I enjoyed it a lot. To be honest, I still don't think Kurata is a good spectator's sport. I still give them credit for what they tried to do with it. Playing the game itself must be really nice though, I liked the idea of it and I really enjoyed the reading/singing of the japanese poems even though I didn't understand a word but it sounded nice. What I really loved about the show were the characters and their development. While there were times that felt scripted there were also a lot of moments that felt so natural and great. I have to admit that Chihaya and Taichi both made it into the row of my favourite anime characters. The supporting cast also did a lot of work and wasn't just dead weight. Last but not least: I loved the OST. It carried all the emotional moments with care and added a lot to the atmossphere. Right now I'm thinking about getting the OST. Well, on to season 2 I guess.
