But I can over look it for the most part because story telling. zz + Show Spoiler [magic jesus] + But as far as the Mahouka story goes, it kinda works out, at least to me? He is a shitty magician by regular standards so he compensates by being good at CAD building and taijitsu. His primary magic of making shit go poof and come back to life can't be shown to the general public so he's left with being an average magician, which is unacceptable for his family background. His family thinks he's shit cause he can't do even the most mundane magic properly but in reality, they fear him. He's ok with looking weak cause it attracts less attention to his imouto, etc, etc. But in regards to the whole package, magic jesus is probably the most OP MC I can think of and that's kinda half the fun. Also like Souma said, there are a lot of good female charas too, which is another point that sold me. The LNs did a much better job painting the Mahouka world, the animu we just got to see combat and girls go deredere. np for me. | ||
