+ Show Spoiler + I'm actually starting to get a bit frustrated from watching it, while i really enjoyed it at first it has taken a strong dive in how enjoyable it has been ever since the mystery manga got cancelled. There has been a few singular strong episodes but overall the arcs since then have been weak and not very engaging because they have just been failure after failure, while season 1 was very similar in how many hurdles they had to overcome there was atleast some progress and overall sense of accomplishment, however now everything they're doing seems to be paling compared to the mystery manga. The cancelling of that manga also felt a bit weird to me and honestly left a bad taste in my mouth because of how hard the two MCs had been working to finally get that serialized + the concept and idea seemed fleshed out and good. Watching them struggle this much with no real sense of progression or accomplishment is just no fun, there has to be some big payoff soon with them getting an epiphany or i might not be too motivated to continue with season 3  | ||

Best tip is to read Fate/Stay night first and then if you want to watch the anime watch the recent UBW adaption by ufotable and move onto fate/zero afterwards. If you don't want to read the VN just go for UBW adaption -> Wait for the second part of that next season and then when that finishes -> fate/zero I'd definitely recommend reading the VN however so you get through all 3 routes in the "intended" order. | ||

If you want to fully enjoy it the Fate series then read the Fate:Stay Night visual novel. Then you can read or watch Fate/Zero (I dunno if F/Z Ln is translated or not). You can also check out the recently started FSN: UBW anime (2nd season airing this spring), but if you have read the FSN VN then you can save this for last to see the UBW route animated. If you do not want to mess with VNs or LNs then I guess watch the UBW 1st then go to Fate/Zero? I would ignore the UBW movie and the original Fate: Stay Night series. Although I guess you could watch it to get a rough idea of the Fate route (though heavily heavily recommended that you just read the FSN VN). The Heaven's Feel (third route in the game) is going to come out as a movie within a year or two probably. | ||

Aldnoah isn't completly terrible but it has a lot of bad things about it that shade the good things. There are definitely tons of better shows out there. You could go more into detail to what you are looking for and people might be able to recommend something to your likings.
