LH and Shigatsu do have a better of up and down here and there but overall, still fun enough to watch  As for best, hard to say, I look forward to watching them all every week. Among your list of best of the season Man ive been saying Military! was AoTY for like, 10 weeks now? i figured you all woulda known that by now + Show Spoiler [edit] + In all seriousness, i've been really enjoying military! ...the problem is I decided not to compare shorts to full episode anime b/c in the end they could only come up with enough material to cover 5 minutes per week as opposed to 25 minutes. and while that may make the short better than some anime full of filler and episodes that don't really have anything to further the story (Beach episodes ftw) it still isn't enough for me to compare the two..... and the other full episode anime that are actually really well written just blow the shorts out of the water. | ||

I'm at ep3 and it's ok so far, nothing amazing, lots of rehashed scenes. But since it's supposed to be a plot heavy anime I kind of expected a slow introduction like this. | ||

All you need to know is that at some point FMA03 goes anime original and becomes pretty dumb and that FMA:B is far better overall because it sticks true to the manga.
