It's like we get it already, quit it! lol. Good episode otherwise. + Show Spoiler +Great that she finally realized her feeling and I think the setting was perfect as well. Shirobako was also great as well. + Show Spoiler +New characters and it was cool to see all those different meetings though the girl and bear parts became a little annoying by the 4th/5th meeting lol. I am more upset about what they will do to Kaori at the end + Show Spoiler +like Kaori would be totally fine at the end of the series despite all the flag thanks to power of musical friendship, or she just ends up with something "minor" like paralysis Iirc Miragee also feels similar about those flags. Other than that, I think it's kinda okay, although if they start flagging more than a million times in a single episode it would really be annoying. Also, obligatory comment about the number of death flags on Kaori's head Regarding this season, what are the top 3 must watch that is not a sequel? I can't follow many new series after including ongoing ones, so may be just some of the best show first while the rest can be caught up later So far I'm enjoying Death Parade and Kancolle (boats) the most. Seems like the general consensus as well. Still meh on Saekano and not a fan of Rolling Girls (well I'm only 1 ep in tho). Is Kancolle something enjoyable even without background knowledge (aka play the game)? I did enjoy the fake/moe boat show (Arpeggio), and also UBW despite not reading the VN yet. it's the #1 ranked anime from winter according to Sony! based on people recording it via PS / PCOn a more serious note: It does look a lot better than Arpeggio whenever they're not fighting as in no CG. When they are using CG it's the same issue as fake boats had. But the fact that it looks really good without CG contrasts the CG just more which makes it seem even worse whenever you see faces or hair of the girls during fights... Other than that it is referencing the game A LOT. I thought you can't enjoy the show without knowing the game at first because if you don't know it it's just a random moeblob but there's apparently a bunch of people who are watching it without knowing it in here. Wikt even started playing the game after being hooked on the show. TL;dr: If you don't have an issue with it being less mecha and as such seeing girls, in humanoid form, firing arrows that turn into fighter planes you might like it. It will be pretty weird to watch if you don't know the game though. Yeah I find it ok so far far after 3 eps. Will stick around for more.

What do you mean by normal type of stuff? The ending to the 1st part of saekano is really bittersweet.

I asked several people but no one knew an answer to this, so ill try here. Is there an "official" term for when the drawing style changes from its regular style to this weird cuteish style to point out a joke? An example would be in FMA whenever someone calls Edward small or confuses him with his brother, he gets this frowny face like this + Show Spoiler +

Just the normal tsundere type crap, and like the stuff in episode 2 where basically they were kinda all just jerks to each other bantering back and forth. Seems like the type of show not to get too serious or anything and have actual serious drama. All the characters seem to be kinda whacked besides the "boring girl" anyway.

yo, i discarded my "short-term" idea of buying pvcs and decided to save up for dolls blog about it here http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/476335-dolls anyone into dolls? i never really liked the idea of moving part dolls but after seeing how realistic they are the moving part thing just becomes a feature of their beauty. i have transcended. wtb $600 tho

Well saw Isuca episode one and it was....well like most of the other stuff this season "meh", though a step up from most of the other stuff.

The censoring was one of the stupidest things ive seen this season yet (approaching Pupa levels practically). Might as well just make it a straight to BD release. Don't think I've kept any shows this season other than Tokyo Ghoul/Aldnoah which are sequels so... yeah. Hopefully spring makes up for it.

Spring is going to be sooo good according to the current Anichart, sadly I will be studying my ass off / crying myself to sleep studying for candidacy exams around then t.t
Yamada-kun show going to be an actual anime? This season will be the best in a long time. Nisekoi, DxD, FSN, Knights of Sidonia, Yamada-kun pretty awesome core plus stuff like Denpa Kyoushi (source was kinda fun for a while). Hell they are even putting up the next Grisaia butchering as being next season and some other good stuff is in there as well.

Yes it's an actual Yamada-kun anime. The OVA I watched was pretty mediocre though.

I hope it turns out well, I heard they are bringing back all the VAs from the OVA. I really like the manga and right around the same time as when the anime will air they are releasing the manga in English!

Oregairu S2 will be the best thing in spring. Followed by souma, ubw, or knights of Sidonia. Though I'm also looking forward to digimon, and I'll be interested to see how Arslan senki and Danmachi go. Gintama will prob be fun as well. Oh and I guess I'll watch the grisaia adaptions.
I can't wait to hear more "Yahello!" And serious hayamin

Yea it got pretty cringe worthy for a while after they did the ceremony, then it picked up a little again as like a last gasp of what it used to be. Now its going back down again as the author seems to just be throwing stuff at the wall to raise the stakes/drama and it just seems to be overly convoluted now.
I have considered Yankee-kun since its by the same author. Worth picking up? Seems like people liked it before the aforementioned milking.

Yankee-kun was pretty fun. But it same issue of getting dragged the fuck out by the mangaka.
It also has one of the worst endings I've ever read in a manga.

Death Parade ep 3 was decent. I will say though, the plot twist in this ep was contrived as hell.

I feel so ashamed admitting this but... Ive been watching Beelzebub lately, and it's actually not terrible
