Hey did you see the + Show Spoiler [boats ep 2] + scene in the OP which describes the one where Kaga and Akagi get blown up? I hope this show spares my fav boats. Please don't die looking at what i have, it looks like i have 16 shows during winter to watch as they release and about 2 prequel series, and 3 fall series to leisurely catch up on. And that's not counting that i might drop some of them later. At least it is nothing compared to my 28 or so shows during fall. | ||

But I doubt they'll let ships die... right? I also have my fav boat (put a ring on her) butchered already... Criteria: Something shounen (action with plenty of light-hearted moments) and it must have some hott female characters (manga without proper eye candy will not hold my attention). Also, must be something that's been out for a while and has not been animated/will probably not be animated. | ||

While it doesn't have the "hot female character" qualification, you should read the Getter Robo Saga. Its really good, and finished because the Mangaka died. However, Ken Ishikawa's art starting from Getter Robo Go onward (when he finally started drawing in his own style) is a sight to behold. The original and G both have a really retro look borrowed almost complete from Go Nagai, but they are like 3 volumes total, making them the shortest part of the Saga. All the anime adaptions were spin-offs, and none actually covered the story. Its one of my Top 3 Mangas, up there with One Piece and Gundam Sousei. | ||
