God, that episode annoyed me. Boring fight with typical nonsensical/pointless banter and some typical silly romantic drama. I hope the next will be better. | ||

To me, I think the show really suffers from having a lack of relatable characters. The vast majority of the cast is composed of utterly reprehensible people. Peco is a lazy dick who's full of himself. Tsukimoto is just boring. Kazama neglects everyone. The coach ignores his entire fucking team to focus on his pet project/spitting image. The only character who I actually liked was Kong. The ending felt like a real asspull too. All that talk about the knee and it doesn't seem to matter one bit. Those together with the fact that it's from Togashi led me to believe that would be more of a spiritual predecessor to HxH. I'm still early in the series so that might change of course. And don't get me wrong, I don't expect a HxH #2. But I expect less useless filler banter to drag out boring fights than usual long ass shounen like Dragon Ball or One Piece. | ||

Also, shirobako is really good, it's 2 cour (2nd cour is airing now). Parasyte, Yuki Yuna, Akatsuki no Yona, Amagi Brilliant park all these are pretty good and deserve watching. | ||
