I treat both the same but in general people speak, cute is sort of a naive innocence thing while adorable is usually for little children and animals.

well ya, I used adorable more for kids and cute for I dunno, anything that isn't a kid lol. Adorable is also naive innocence though if we're talking about kids (or just innocence).
Does the influential brother of that group not give a shit about his little sister? He half heartedly chastised his subordinate after he directed that chick to kill them all. Again with the jarring serious/light hearted stuff. Nothing is really explained.

Sagami is not tomoyo's brother. You are mixing them up.
Best Animes for 2014 Fate Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works Gundam: G no Reconguista Gundam Build Fighters Try Blue Blazes
Best Thing that Nobody Watched of 2014 Blue Blazes and this is a crime, Blue Blazes soooo good. Only Echo watched it with me, and thats cuz he is a bro with good taste.
'G is the Most Hotblooded Letter of the Alphabet' Award for Best Mecha of 2014 + Show Spoiler +
Gundam: G no Reconguista. Sorry GBF, I really really wanted to award this to you, but your lack of budget vs G Reko's copious amounts of well choreographed and unconventional battles makes them the easy winner for this.
Most Surprising of 2014 Garo Madan no Ou to Vanadis
Cross Ange. At any other place I would have awarded it to Sword Art Online 2, but people actually like Cross Ange here. How can you people like this garbage, its like you have no self respect. And I say this with much love.
I can't find the scene itself on Youtube, but...........
Best Female Characters of 2014 Hoshino Fumina Saber I guess, but I don't really consider her a 2014 character
Best Male Characters of 2014 Frontier Setter
Best Seiyuu for 2014 Tamura Yukari Yui Horie
Best Boobs Iida Nana
On the Cute/Adorable argument: 'Cute' can be used in the same way as 'adorable', but I don't think it works in reverse. Also I'm pretty sure Elem is a lolicon.
Expelled from Paradise was surprisingly able to do some good CGI scenes. The final battle in particular was able to overcome the shortfalls of CGI and make use of its strengths, which rarely ever happens outside of Hollywood and Studio Orange. They were even able to get some good CGI facial expressions in there, which is even rarer when going FULL CGI for characters. But on the other hand, it had a lot of the vices that CGI anime falls into often as well, such as some choppy, busy battle scenes that are impossible to follow. Well, I guess choppy can be applied to most of the movie, as frame-rate being as low as it was stood out.
Angela was voiced by KugiRie, which was unfortunate, however her character design was sooo good.
@XenOmega: There aren't any other derivative works for it right now AFAIK

Could I expect to find something similar in another title? I'm in a huge craving for Science Fiction

Urobuchi Gen apparently can only do a couple of different themes in anime he has his hands in, so you could get varying degrees of exactly what you just got from anime like Suisei no Gargantia, Psycho Pass, or Aldnoah Zero.

I didn't mix anything up. The subordinate in context of my statement is Sagami.

Ghost in the Shell Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd gig
You get the point. All of them have the added benefit of actually exploring the subject matter, unlike Expelled from Paradise.

EDIT:
Too hard to not mention the others. Some categories i don't have absolute favorites
Top Three Best Acted Roles of 2014 (in no particular order):
Ozawa Ari as Sakura Chiyo (Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun): Getting the obvious one out of the way first. I have not seen a female role/seiyuu with such amazing tsukkomi in a while. Her natural, not-overly-high-pitched cute/adorable voice fit the character perfectly and was extremely refreshing to the ears. Her pitch-perfect tsukkomi and ability to make even the most expected jokes funny with her clean, crisp execution brought to life a character that may have fell flat with just about anyone else playing the part. Thank you, Ozawa Ari, for the eargasms, and here's to a hopefully very successful career.
Hikasa Yoko as Stephanie Dola (No Game No Life): It's amazing. I do not particularly care for Hikasa Yoko and I certainly do not care much about NGNL, but Hikasa came out of nowhere with a role that generally does not register well with me either. She strung together her ojousama-esque lines with pure natural perfection, absent of any awkwardness or sense of forcefulness that you almost always get with these types of roles. She bounces back and forth between emotional extremes within the matter of seconds and makes me wonder each time how big are the people around her in the studio grinning as she puts on a hilariously splendid performance. Hikasa proves she is not a typecast to be reckoned with and I hope we will get to see many more roles from her that divulge greatly from her usual tomboyish heroines.
And last but not least...
Touyama Nao as Kirisaki Chitoge (Nisekoi): It is one thing to play a unique role marvelously (i.e., Nakahara Mai in Jinsui), it is another thing to play one of the most common archetypes in anime so well that it actually sounds fresh. Quite possibly the key contributor to a harem that surprised me with its entertainment value, Touyama put on a surgical performance with absolute breathtaking technique as she somehow elevated the typical violent tsundere to one with vocal intricacies that left me in awe. Her control of her voice allows her to embed additional elements where she pleases, and what would normally be typical tsun and dere moments end up being just a little bit more. A bit of extra comical hysteria, a bit more adorableness, some extra maliciousness, or a bit of all in one simple phrase - her acting left me without boredom in one of the most beaten-to-death roles in the industry. Needless to say, I can't wait for season two.
And just because this guy irks me.
Worst Seiyuu of 2014:
Hanae Natsuki (Inaho in Aldnoah, Arima in Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso). Die.

Kiraki Chitoge and Sakura Chiyo voice actress are so fucking good for the character. Good thing pointing that out.

You would.
So I guess I should pick Nobunaga Concerto back up. IIRC I dropped it on ep 1 because of the shit tier animation. Thinking about it some more, I'm pretty sure I picked up Hyouge Mono in it's place, so it wasn't a total loss!
