I have no idea how MAL even determines compatibility. I have higher compatibility with people who like anime that I hate (and who also don't care for Mecha anime), than I do with other friends who like the same stuff I like.
On the topic of LOLH, I like Ferris. Apparently she was extremely annoying in the novels, but lol I can't judge her based on what I haven't read. Kiefer is... I dunno, I need to see more of her. I didn't really think much of her one way or another early on (partly because she looked like an effeminate guy), but lets see what she does in the Pink Hair country.

I do that sometimes too. When I finish a series, I'm always like "HOLY THAT WAS THE BEST THING EVERRRR." Then a couple of months later when I'm browsing through my list, I wonder why I rated it a 9 and lower it.

I like Kiefer because of how she completely screwed over the company of recruits early on in the series. That was awesome. That she's actively trying to help Ryner is also a plus in my book (and, y'know, she kissed him <_<). It's not so much that I dislike Ferris, but I just kinda find her boring. It's like the only things she ever comments on are dango and Ryner being a sexual predator.

Well she is also pretty hot, and has a huge sword that she beats people to death with. I think she and Ryner work fairly well together too, which is another plus.

It's been a while since I checked this thread.
First thing to note is DenYuuDen 18. Looks like things are really heating up, but I was so disappointed with the animation quality.  Hopefully they plan their budget better next time for the better scenes.
As for Shiki, the fansubbing has slowed down since the hiatus so I haven't caught up to the latest episode yet. It's a great show though.
Amagami, this arc is not that good, but I've been hearing so much about how good Ayatsuji's arc is:

MAL determines compatibility by taking whatever shows you have watched in common and finding the average difference between your ratings in those shows. So if you've watched a lot of mech, and your friends haven't, but you have similar ratings on shows that you both have watched, you will have high compatibility.

+ Show Spoiler +Well, the show isn't mirroring the game exactly, which is fine. Its still going in the same general direction with the plot. It seems like its really hard to give all the characters screen time during fights, just due to the sheer number of characters. Like all the R-1 did was notice R-Eins this episode.
It looks like the standard EFA mech aren't Huckebeins. They haven't said its named, but they look like mass produced Wildschweins (the mech Ingram originally pilots in OG1). I have heard that Huckebeins will still be in the show, and have a "stellar entrance", so we can hope I guess.
Kyosuke owned the Rapicage, so that made up for stuff like that lol. Also Axel showed up, but he didn't get to do anything since Soulgain was damaged.
Preview had Princess Shine in it, so I think they are just going to be skipping that first space arc/split. I dunno.

What's with all this love for jimiko in OreImo this week, particularly in this thread. If they needed moe, just stick to Ayase and Kirino. If they needed megane, just stick a pair on one of those two.
Meh, I personally just hate jimiko's guts because of the novels, she literally serves no purposes besides to appeal to the people into megane and osananajimi content. I usually appreciate the latter too, plain as they might be, but she has hit a point of extreme boredom that I simply can't stand.

Wait like 2 weeks. The current pacing is a tad bit odd though. And like someone pointed out, about 95% of Ferris content is dango or Ryner = sexual predator. Its funny for a while, but when you are like me and read like 30ish vols of DenYuuDen? You start to want to shoot yourself every time you see that crap.
Seriously the author does a much, much, much better job when he focuses on serious content. Someone needs to get that in his head - he can't write awesome short stories like FMP, suck it up and stick to the serious shit.

I went to bed but I couldn't sleep... So I looked online and saw that Ep6 of OreImo was out... Yay!
Really nice episode. The lonely/jealous Kirino is soo cute (and sexy).
You can also count me as a TWGOK fan, so far. I'm still undecided if I should watch Motto To Love-Ru now while it's airing or if I should wait for the complete collection. Any advice?
