Oh and I quoted that just to get the gif on another page. seriously, way to shut down any potential relationship development. though with a story like this, with the main lead being his sister i guess that makes sense since they can never get together anyways. | ||

Kyousuke just says that, its the author's way of setting that gap between him normally and him when he is doing something, incidentally invariably almost everything he does turns out to be for Kirino. And well, latest novel spoilers has set him up with someone, assuming that the leaks were real. Probably are. I am just happy that there was apparently more Ayase in vol 7. | ||

When do you do anything but complain, Uta?  And randomly digging through the torrents from over the weekend yields what is supposed to be OreImo 7 (and a txt for Nekomonogatari Shiro, guilting me), guess it is time to give it a cursory read. and by that I guess I mean look at the illustrations and guess what happened in the LN from just the illustrations. Looks like I won't be getting enough Ayase scenes this vol, shame. Anyhow, looks like the author is just going to try to keep up the tension for a bit longer, though there is seriously not much left to do imo. Sigh, Ayase seems way more interesting than jimiko as usual but we barely get enough of her antics. Either the author sucks and don't know a good character or the demographic sucks =( | ||

Both are targeted towards a younger audience, so it's similar to FMA/Naruto/Bleach/Trigun(?). | ||

So no need to get worked up about it I don't mind characters like that, but I do have a beef with jimiko being useless plot wise because she is completely isolated until vol 5 gives you more school action. Basically, she only becomes involved with the plot when others enable her to. Otherwise, all the scenes you see with her are like what's featured in episode 6, standalone scenes with her and no one else. That's not really what anyone would like to see in a character imo. Like in vol 7, she became involved only because she bumps into Kyosuke and Kirino, similar things for every other vol. She only gets plot when author feels like developing her and her alone, or tag her into others' events via accidents and events that don't normally happen. | ||
