+ Show Spoiler + I'm sad that both Kougami and Masaoka are gone for good now. : / But it was good for the show I think. That lesbian "reveal" in the end came a bit random, lol. I also really liked the ending where Akane had the same lines as Ginoza at first when introducing the new inspector but then deviated from it when it came to the discription of the enforcers. Showed the learning experience through the entire series. 8,5/10 from me, definitely recommended. On November 16 2014 18:38 bluegarfield wrote: Official is 19Nov. + Show Spoiler + From having a love interest that may eat you. To Living a life of a failure. To acceptance and goodbyes. To living a life of danger. Also Benten is fucking awesome. She's a combination of dangerous, sweetness and a victim of a circumstances that she took advantage of. Of course i have complains like for example how Yashiro and his family where how they let the offenders(Uncle and his twin sons) easily go through despite all the harm and schemes they have done to their family. And what happened to Junichi(the old man who Benten clings to) the leader of Friday Fellows ? It has drama, comedy and everybit of everything including a ton of crazy from time to time. This is one of the shows that i wasn't interested upon reading the premise(synopsis) however it's actually much better than I thought it would be. 8/10

I was the first one who voted no. currently it might be slightly better but I don't really like either of their 2nd seasons. first season of SAO had a much higher enjoyment peak (specially liked the trapped in a lethal game idea which added for lots of tension) for me even though it got worse after a while. combat wise, and I like battles, SAO wins by a large margin too. character interaction in LH might be better because it's more of a focus, but it's not particularly good imo. all in all, they are very different animes though. if you wanna see more guild interaction but less combat, then LH is better.+ Show Spoiler + I guess what turns me off the most in LH is that some characters are extremely annoying, especially Henrietta (girl in classes who cuddles Akatsuki whenever possible) or what she's called.

That essay. + Show Spoiler + I, Angelise Ikaruga Mitsurugi, wish to here provide an explanation regarding the altercation which occurred at the bathhouse between myself and Squadron Number One Captain Thalia. On the occasion of my daily sorties, my performance has been spectacular, and thinking about it now this was more than enough to make Captain Thalia jealous. However, for my part, I knew nothing of the captain's envy and unfounded slandering of me, and I had no idea whatsoever about the captain's mounting day-to-day stress. Even when the captain came to me at the bathhouse my only thought was that she had come to praise my usual work, Further, even when Captain Thalia came at me with a knife, I though that this was a unique manifestation of the captain's affection and I accepted the challenge without a thought. I knocked away the captain's knife, and after some bare-handed fighting, we entered into a battle with scrubbing brushes, and I felt that it was actually beating her that would meet her expectations, and so before I knew it, I had won a total victory. As far as this goes, I believe my behavior is as it normally is in my day-to-day life, but I have come to learn through this incident that my being elegant and luxurious causes some people to feel envy. I am guilty of no wrongdoing or misconduct in this incident, and I myself am not to blame in the slightest, so I can improve nothing, but if it may be said that the mere perfection of my existence begat it, then I do offer some apology.

Danmachi anime in like 2015/2016 apparently, for the moment I can just use more content. Out of the recentish rage over fantasy worlds that work like games danmachi is definitely one of the best executed ones. Sword Oratoria also turns out to be a good way to get Ainz time, it is like people learned from Index. Not much of Hanekawa yet so not listed. I don't even know what animal spirit she represents if you like the colors, you're going to love the end of Kanbaru arc. That looked absolutely amazing. And Bakemonogatari is probably the series that Shaft spend the least money on producing, so everything that comes afterwards generally looks even better from a productionvalue PoV. From an artistic pov it can go both ways but hey, I'm not gonna argue about the usage of toothbrushs here.

I personally feel that SAO did a better job during fights in arc 1 and at different points in the upcoming arcs. On the other hand, LH had some fights but they were ok and in the end, it was more about them learning to live in that world which was interesting to watch. Also, watch SAOII and if no time, watch the summary episode then. It was episode 14.5. It gives you a really good overview of everything that happened and the end result so you can skip all those 14 episodes lol.

Why even bother watching the anime if you're just gonna watch a summary and skip the actual content. If a summary can replace watching the series then the series is probably not worth watching to begin with.

Yeah things such as grey background with alternative yellow/red/blue bars and stand out characters design (the park scene in ep3-4) are something hard to pull off without looking out of place or awkward but Shaft did pretty well there. I also have a sweet spot for unusual visual appeals , so thx looking forward to that arc

I remember watching it the first time and I really was torn on it during the park episodes. I don't really like Hachikuji to be honest and the episodes were somewhat boring when it was about her and not about Gahara. But I certainly remember looking at exactly those yellow/red/blue bars and not caring one bit because it looked so amazing. Good times :3
