Wonder if it'll be worth it to watch. Anyone else watched this when they were younger? I enjoyed watching it when I was younger. Best show ever back then. Even re-watch it a few times, but mostly for nostalgic reason, going through all the feels and emotional experience like a kid again. Not sure if a grown up will experience the same though as it can be cliche/corny at times. Would say it's not a terrible show that will waste your time if you watch (pretty long, 50+ episodes a season), but you dont miss much not watching it now either (or rather you kinda miss the highs of it)

Guess it's still worth a try lol.

Doraemon is one more rank higher than this one for me when i was young. In fact, find some time to read the VN... Will read the VN if ever i find the time.

Maybe they are going to breeze through them all fast then have the last one be longer and include the romance part of it (prolly Amane).

As someone who knows almost nothing about Grisaia (aka just watch the anime) I would have thought Yumiko would get most of the spotlight, but I guess not.

Nah Amane has large breasts and is in desperate need of dick so obviously she'll get more attention. Yumiko is an attempted Senjougahara clone/homage which just lands up being a negative since well you can't clone a god.

Btw the way they are doing her route is weird, but I guess that is going to happen when you are condensing the shit out of em.

In the Fate scenario, Shirou doesn't use a command spell to stop Saber owning Archer at the very beginning, so Archer gets taken out of the picture for a very long time. And then Rin offers an alliance right after Berserker beats the shit out of Saber. I think the only other way to get the chase, even if you fuck up Archer, is to still refuse the alliance when Rin offers it, but that leads to an unavoidable dead-end IIRC. Was the 2006 Fate anime that different? I guess that anime wasn't a shitty Frankenstein monster for nothing... The first... 10 or so episodes are going to basically be a recap for you (with a few differences here and there), but will diverge soon enough.

+ Show Spoiler + Wow, somewhat surprised that Mine did not die. Pretty good episode, and nice to see that Seryu or what she was called is gone for good. Didn't like her after she went to the Jaegers.

so, they were going to kill her huh and Ange saved her? cool. She's having that 180 degree turn slowly. Isn't rude to those who treat her well (Momoka case was exception) and at least she's starting to value people. I wasn't expecting for her to buy Momoka lol. Figured some kind of escape but I prefer that she stays close by and learns what things are like there. I remember hating it a lot back when I was a kid. xD I was a really big pokemon fan and when digimon came up I thought it was such a bad copy that wanted to overtake my precious pokemon.^^

Well, what to even say about this... From what I'm hearing, the anime is working out to be a grand/golden path where Yuuji saves all the girls (without committing to any of them) and a lot of the non-canon stuff in the VN simply isn't adapt into the anime (e.g. when Yumiko and Yuuji run away from Mihama in the VN, they're gone for several months. That would be harder to explain in a realistic timeline). So it sounds like the Kajitsu anime is setting up strongly to transition into a Meikyuu anime sometime in the future. The material is obv there. With that in mind, Yumiko's episode isn't all bad, if it wasn't for the fact that it's so rushed. Not really sure how much character development can be done in 22 minutes and that's the biggest travesty. We miss out on Yumiko's mom in the hospital, Yumiko's interaction with her dad after her mom's hospitalized, 4-5 random fights, and the dad's confession of what it's like to be the heir of the East Beach Railway Express Group (such a mouthful, no wonder they renamed it Tohin, l0l). I guess the VN adaptation I was hoping for the most was the motherfucking turkey but that literally came out from nowhere, rofl. Chizuchizu is adorable as fk. We get to see Yuuji be a sniper. The OST continues to be godlike. I literally have zero expectations for the anime at this point but a part of me will continue to be sad about the total side swipe in character development and backstory. Far less feels in the anime obv. Eagerly awaiting Angelic Howl (wtf, name so good) and Sacchin's route, my #1 and #2 routes in the VN. Dear lawd, don't fuck it up. I'm not asking for much. ;; + Show Spoiler [why you no tilt?!] + ![]() ![]() + Show Spoiler [more music (Rakuen no Tsubasa)] +

But there are some anime adaptions that don't feel like they massively truncated the source material like I'm feeling about Grisaia. Not the best example but I really enjoyed the Mahouka LNs and the anime did a fairly good job keeping up. tbh, I'm just trying not to be outraged with Grisaia not being what I hoped. Not sure where I should be placing my expectation for things.
