I tunneled through Tokugawa and Hanny after finishing off Hara and Ashikaga. Tokugawa is a pretty good commander, or, alternatively, senhime is a good spears with investment, so it's not like you have to go straight for kenshin. You didn't bring suzume along when you conquered Iga? you get sat bonus, too. Also, good thing it takes several turn until the Takeda charges... they're like the demon army ones except stronger. You sure are taking your sweet time, lol. The end game points are running out on you~ I was counting on Lucile being imba, but didn't think he would have some sort of inhuman characteristic. From the way he talks, it's as if Ryner's abnormality lies not within the alpha stigma, but there's something else along with the alpha stigma inside Ryner. Whatever that is, it's in Lucile as well.
But Kenshin's awesome. 
Eh, I thought beating Tokugawa was harder than beating Uesugi. Since I'm gonna beat Ashikaga before heading to Hojo anyways, I might as well keep going north since I can get free wins whenever Kenshin herself shows up in battle (<3 scouting).
I didn't know that Suzume was needed when taking over Iga, lol. In fact, in that picture, it was the second time he came back. That's when I figured out that I probably wasn't going about it properly. I guess I lucked out in my first playthrough when I had Suzume in my battle group. <.<
Yeah, I'm pretty much screwed for endgame points right now. Oh well. Guess I'll just aim to get more cgs and character clears. I'm kinda running out of space in my roster though.
I think I'm gonna give Soredemo a try just because of how good this OP and ED is. ^^

Takada, Uesugi and Hojo are in balance. Killing any will break that and cause story to advance (ie Takada winning). You do need to take care of yukihime if only for her very useful dad! The south route is probably better to reach Hojo. I think as long as you don't take one of Takada's terroritories they won't do the special attack. Since Uesugi is essentially a freebie, you want to be in war with them whilst attacking some other nations simultaneously. So attacking Hojo is the perfect trigger because they are allied with Uesugi. On the other hand...Takada is ridiculously difficult, 4 generals.. and the calvary just rapes back-row. So reaching Hojo via Takada is not as easy.

Baccano! - I'm not even sure how to begin describing this show. Just watch it. ^^
Durarara - Like Baccano, but set in Japan and not as good.
Black Lagoon - Your Average Joe office worker somehow becomes involved with a pirate/smuggling company. Relatively dark. Not bad.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Sci-fi spec ops with a decent dose of philosophy. Fortunately, it's not as confusing as the movies.
I see Elfen Lied was suggested. A word of warning if you watch it: it's rather... polarizing. Either you love it or hate it.
Slice of life is a rather broad genre, so I'll just list some stuff I liked:
Hidamari Sketch - K-ON in art school. Tons and tons of moe.
Genshiken - Anime club. Pretty good story.
Moyashimon - Guy can talk to microbes. Surprisingly hilarious.

I've heard of almost none of these. =/ None of them sound particularly interesting either. I guess a lot of people will be excited for KnT s2, but I didn't make it through the first season. I'm watching the KnK epilogue, Angel Beats OVA, and Black Lagoon for sure though.

I read IS as AS and immediately thought of FMP.

Going to watch Beelzebub, but yeah the list of TV series looks rather underwhelming.
There's some pretty good OAD/OVA, though they're like... 30 minutes long-ish? I'm surprised that a Fafner movie is coming out, didn't even hear anything about it.

I found the best way for fighting Takeda is just use Chance attacks, Suzume + Kanami + Inukami (if you have him) Isoroku for Whirlwind Shot, Front row use Yuzuhara Yuzumi for her Aim and Shoot.
Other wise use Uesugi Kenshin with Uruza so they can't really do anything, Leila is also strong with her Crusader Charge attack

have you checked out the To aru Majutsu no Index 1 and 2? as well as To aru kagaku no choudenjibou (or was it railgun)

The earliest Shana 3 could possibly come out is when Index 2 finishes (and I think Index 2 is supposed to be 25ish episodes like Index 1). But Fall or Winter 2011 is more likely.

Index isn't bad. I think the dialogue with Touma is so shitty sometimes though...that I'd just rather watch the action...
But to be honest...I'm only watching the series for action....the Misaka girl...and Index is actually growing on me....so her too.

Long shot in the dark here but does anyone remember the Anime about a police officer who is injured in a chase(I think) and being unable to treat him put him a deep sleep(freeze?) and he wakes up in the future treated and joins the team where the boss a woman is robotic, later learned, I remember being shown on Fox in the morning years back when they showed cartoons etc on Saturdays.
