If you are going to watch Precure, watch Heartcatch Precure, which is widely considered the best one. Certainly one of the best magical girl shows I've seen, and delivers plenty of action. The fight choreography in that show is really top notch.

so much Tatsumi x Esdeath moments lol. Esdeath' background is something though. A natural hunter, huh? Guess it makes sense how things progressed overall. She's on such a high level that I dunno what they can actually do to beat her. Wonder if Tatsumi will just end up backstabbing her the next time they have a lovey dovey moment (or while unlikely, the beast in her becomes untamed (in her as in blood lol) and she loses it that way). Will be interesting (and sad) to see that happen
Well that was certainly something, an okay start i suppose. It can now either get good or fall flat. I've heard the VN is good though so i suppose i'm hoping for it to get good. Does anyone know if it'lll have an uncensored airing or do we have to wait for the BDs for that?

Tatsuya and Miyuka are really siblings. Tatsuya is not an Android. Miyuki was born a goddess of magic and Tatsuya was born completly talentless except for this one trademark magic of his. This was unacceptable for their aunt, Maya Yotsuba, the head of the Yotsuba family. Now the yotsuba's all happen to have some trademark magic that only that one person in question can use. For Miyuki it's that freezing magic that freezes the "soul", for Maya it would be her lightning thingie and so on. Tatsuya and Miyuki's Mom (that makes her the sister of Maya) happens to be a magical brain surgeon. So Maya went up to her and was like "yo sis, you see that failure of a son you've produced? Let's try and give him an artifical *part of the brain that's responsible for magic*" and his mom was like "yolo, let's do this"
But she can't just "add" something new. So she wiped out the parts of his brain that are in charge of "strong" emotions and replaced it with with something that makes him good at magic. Experiment was a failure btw but as a result he's still unable to feel any "strong" emotions, whatever that might be. They left one emotion in him though.
"goddess of magic" seems like a misnomer but in term of magic power, there doesn't seem to be anyone on par with Miyuki, save Tatsuya. In the Visitor arc, Miyuki fights against another Strategic class magician and hold her own.

Did they announce an OVA or are you just expecting it? They skipped LN vol 5 and I don't see how they can work it into the second season smoothly. OVA does seem like the best idea. They need to include chapters 1 and 4 of vol 5 at the very least to make some events of the Visitor arc to make sense.

Since he's basically all about protecting Miyuki, if she decided to crush Maya wouldn't he just go and do it then? I don't really see what's stopping them from breaking away from the Yotsuba family aside from Miyuki not actually wanting it to happen.
It's said that Miyuki has loyalty towards Yotsuba and wouldn't do anything against the family, even though they treat Tatsuya like trash. Tatsuya has the ability to defeat Maya but doesn't because someone else would simply replace Maya. "better the enemy you know". So in short, Yotsuba has a leash on Tatsuya due to the fact that Miyuki is next in line to succeed the Yotsuba name and Tatsuya won't do anything to jeopardize Miyuki's situation.

Iroha (ep1)was weird. the internal/external monologues were lol but a bit much, then i liked how it took on a "realistic" turn, but that reminds me of the last 10 yrs of my life and i'm not too interested in reliving that LOL.

Iroha tone shifts a bit. First eps gave me a bit of a weird vibe I didn't like to much. Especially the way they treated a girl that just got abandoned by her mother but it changes pretty fast into something that's far more heartwarming. Ohana is such a cute MC with pretty strong characterization for a cute MC.
