i thought terra formars was really good , just unwatchable due to the half-black screens

K-on is the most upbeat on the show but has no lolis or magical girls. Nagi no Asukara has hanazawa kana playing a cute 14 year old girl that's basically a loli but has tons of forced drama and shitty rommance.
As for other shows check out Hanasaku Iroha. More mellow show but got lots of cute stuff and upbeat moments. The Prisma Ilya show has Magical girls and loli but if you don't know Fate universe it isn't as fun.

Carnival Phantasm is cute fun. Very upbeat. Better if you know FSN / Tsukihime well though.

Think only watch Carnival Phantasm if you know FSN/Tsukihime. Sora no Woto is another pretty cute mellow girls show. I just say go watch Hanasaku Iroha right now but I'm biased and loved that show too much.

It's basically a comedy show that parodies the characters in FSN/Tsukihime. So you don't get the joke unless you know FSN/Tsukihime.

Caranival Phantasm is basically a joke show about the Fate universe so it has contextual jokes surrounding the characters and events of the universe. Prisma Illya is an alternate universe magical girl show focusing on one of the families from Fate series. It also has a lot of references to other nasuverse shows. You can watch it without knowing all of the nasuverse stuff and still get enjoyment but you will miss a lot of the references.

Its a compilation of gags and references based upon Type-moons works like Tsukehime and FSN, Melty blood and FHa also has some references but its mostly FN/Tsukehime.

Haven't finished it myself, just 2 episodes in myself (season 1) because of season from last season. But it seems like loli/magical girl/comedy/slightly yuri (?) so far
Seeing madoka on that list. That's anything but upbeat.

Haha I tend to marathon shows instead of jumping around unless they moeblobs, can't marathon moeblobs. The yuri was in Illya s2. Got so much on the backlog to watch. It's a bit daunting
