Does it get happier? If you're 6 episodes in by now... no it's going to get a lot darker and sadder imo. Episodes 7 and 8 especially were absolutely fantastic for me and the one in the end that focused on homura was really amazing too.

If you're 6 episodes in go finish it. It's a good watch and the stuff that's not so good about the series you've already passed.

Homura's story is also revealed nicely, I was able to guess a bit with all the hints from previous eps but to that extent is such sad friendship story.

Madoka is still quite... lacking. She just be there and do nothing so far, baiting for some grand finale or some sort.

And fuck that cat, really. Worst cat ever

p/s: someone please enlighten me what is Deus ex ending that every one talking about? Is it some sort of archtype ending where someone just simply become god to solve unsolvable problems or it's a reference to how Deus Ex the game ends (I never play any of Deus Ex game so)
