It's an anime based on a manga about mangaka creating manga trying to get an anime. ![]() Hahaha, it does sound pretty convoluted when you put it like that. The manga is fascinating stuff since it gives you a look at how manga is actually produced. The funniest thing thing about Bakuman is how they bash WSJ even though they themselves are running in WSJ. ![]()

Bakuman was definately keeping my attention, but I like stuff that's actually closer to reality. I don't mind fantasy/action-adventure stuff, but it takes a toll on you every so often. I watched about 5m of Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt before I turned it off at the sheer wtf factor (I had been watching anime for like 4 hours at that point). I'll probably try again later today. Apparently Star Driver has been buzzing up a storm, so I'll be doing more anime browsing later today.

Downloading subs now, can't wait! I hear the plot is kind of all over the place. Still, this and Star Driver are the two shows I'm looking forward to this season. But that scene in the Op... I can't wait until they actually animated that in the series.

It's following the game so far :x Not sure where plot complaints can come in.

Also, just to make sure: That WAS a Huckebein bullet was piloting, right? Or is this SRW anime using the "No Huckebein" Rule that Divine Wars used? Episode spoiler: + Show Spoiler +

That said, the movie felt kind of advent children-esk in the sense that they're always rushing into battle from one scene to another. I have no qualms with it since I'm an action junkie and have played the game, but it would probably be somewhat confusing for first timer. There was a lot in it that implied a necessity to have seen at least F/SN. For instance, it basically jumps through his death etc. (just some quick scenes during the introduction sequence) and skips most of the explanation regarding the Grail War, and it also doesn't touch on the events in his past that caused him to be the way he is.
