I have a feeling i get what you meant by this. I also stopped nisekoi at one point. I sort of lost interest since i felt like it was going nowhere and shit is looping. I got back into hype because of anime and started watching again. Then i just ignored the development part of the show and enjoyed the lolz part.

I can't really agree with you there znf. If you liked the 1st 40+ chapters then there is no reason to not like the rest as its pretty much the exact same shit, its just put the main romance sub plot on the back burner but other then that its the same laughs, cuteness, etc as before.

If you put the romance plot (not subplot, wtf?) on the back burner it's a completely different story. I don't understand how you could possibly justify that it's "the same." That's just ridiculous and trying to make drastic changes in the story a lesser deal than it really is.

Based on his comment (and my lack of reading the manga lol), my guess is he wanted the story to move forward. To still have similar moments but with more progression. Doesn't sound like it's the case if what I've assumed so far from posts (no spoilers) is true.

yeah, it's just stupid forced drama everywhere, while one partucular guy just refuses to die and continues to carry on his legacy.
Zankyo no Terror's ep5 proves my suspension of creators not having enough balls to handle the controversy. Lisa is typical clumsy damsell in distress, white girl is typical OH GOD DEATH GAMES ARE OMOSHIROI antagonist. Suspense got reduced to zero, but Western audience would still love the shit out of the series once it got licensed, like usual. Meh.
