The only anime deserved to be called AOTY already (and which is almost unknown for general public) is Abarenbou Matsutarou, simply because otherwise it would take Best male MC, best male SC cast, best comedy, best sol, best drama, best sport, best OP and second best romance and female MC rewards by itself. Only Ping Pong can challenge that dead-on grip so far. Tomino's gundam is going to bomb in second half when Aida got rendered next irrevelant by other cute girls and GBF season 2 without season 1 characters don't deserve to be hailed this high. I can still get by why people are voting for Mushishi though, it's fucking Artland, after all, but the fact that it's formulaic sequel should be taken into consideration, imo. | ||

All they sent is the girl and 2 maids, and she is the one who becomes the grail so how would they even get to "use" it if they won? How can the vessel itself win? I am not getting the logistics here since Ilya so far really has only vaguely mentioned a grand-father. Rin's family is like nothing now (where are the other family members?) besides her and the Matou family is on its last legs as well (even with the donated kid). Kinda sad how these "great families" are basically killing themselves for this obsession. | ||

I don't remember if I gave Black Rock Shooter a 1, but pretty sure I came close. Last time I gave something a 1 or a 2 was Sakasama no Patema. I legit was "wtf'ing" at every possible moment. T___T;;;; Watching with fwends didn't make it better. Also I tried Simoun. I don't think I'll ever try a rec from reddit ever again. I'm also watching Casshern Sins right now. This main character guy is pretty suffering. What a struggler. | ||
