Unsurprisingly, it is a little bit of both. The guy who is Death Gun never died in SAO, because if he died in SAO, he would be dead, since hes not Kirito/Asuna. Also spoilers the Death Gun guy was amongst those shown in the flashbacks.

So it didn't ? well the only one i can remember like so many shows was dubbed in our local language(i swear it sounds horrible very few are fine.. ) .. well i am not sure if gundam x was on a local channel though,.
Uhmm pretty sure i live in hell with max difficulty not japan Sent. Hmmm i remember the show probably seen it not a local channel probably someones PC in the past. Idk can't remember well but my memory of watching the show seems vague.

Guessing you get enjoyment out of this same tired line? As I said, I was mostly focusing on the last character (even bolded it in my post for your reading pleasure) since Kirito seemed to highlight it in the flashback and we know he died but at this point, I expect that they can pull out anything in SAO2 which is what I was wondering about. Regardless of who Death Gun is, it won't change my enjoyment of SAO.

no worries, you're right. They showed the scene when that group was going around and PKing people back in SAO. I mostly concentrated on the last guy they showed since it seemed like they highlighted him (to me at least) though it doesn't mean it's him

And this is why I say you can't grasp simple plot points. Focusing on a guy who died as the culprit! So astute. In case you missed the memo, people die when they are killed. Perhaps using a bit of complex thought to look for a guy who looks extremely similar to Death Gun in those flashbacks to try and figure out who Death Gun is must be too hard for you.

Where did you grow up? At any rate, the only possibility would have been watching it someone else's PC, since its never been licensed for other countries. Unless you are thinking of Gundam Wing, which does have sorta similar mecha designs to X.

+ Show Spoiler +nono, you completely misunderstood what I was saying about the two guys though I could've been more clear:
I was saying that the guy at the end of the flashback that Kirito killed was shown and given more screentime which may or may not hint at something which is why I wrote "if it's indeed that guy" because quite frankly, I dunno who Death Gun is but "if that guy" cheated death somehow, wonder what it could mean for the show.
The parking lot guy, that's what I was thinking before he started seeing the flashback. More so when Death Gun saw his name and asked if he's the real thing since it seems that there might be some grudge there so that part was my own thought on who it could be since he survived. Given, I doubt he has the capacity to play and as you said, he got arrested and was the antagonist. Hope that clears things up.
