I'd say that Planetes is overall a more serious anime, espeically the 2nd half. | ||

The MC's voice is still pretty unbearable though Lol and this time Kayano Ai isn't called Shiro but mashiro... let's just pretend thats a coincidence for the sake of my sanity | ||

BUT if you mean Ai Kayano's voice as Shina then I don't really get it. Weren't you one of the few people that loved No Game No Life? Ai Kayano uses the same voice for Shiro which I thought was weird. Also the ngnl fandom is anything but few in numbers. Nozaki with sketch newbie doing Sakura's voice, but pacing so far looks to be good. Still think it is probably better in 10min shorts or something, they are just filling a lot of the gap inbetween with Sakura pretending the show is actually shoujo. | ||

Yeah I meant the male MC and yes, I loved NGNL. Honestly speaking I think the character in Sakurasou no Pet Na Kanojo is fitting a tiny bit better to that voice than Shiro from NGNL for some reason... idk why. But yes, it's exactly the same thing. Just a random realization when picking up the show again. I don't really like her and Shiro was the least likeable character in NGNL, so it was more of a message for emnjay than anything else. And like Eca said, the people who liked NGNL realy weren't few in numbers  | ||
