Top three anime imoimo It's also a novel adaptation. If you watched Uchouten Kazoku, same author wrote Tatami Galaxy. I'm not sure how they adapted it, but from the translations that I've read it sounds like they took a lot of the monologues from the book itself because the "writing" (translations I guess) is much more eloquent and the narrator much more well spoken and varied in his vocabulary (to my pleb ears at least) than most of the anime that I come across.

I think he had some curse or something as well. Rinse and repeat this for 4-5 episodes with different situations in each one lol. Not sure if it continued the trend after that or not. I believe znf watched and liked it or something so he would be able to provide more info on it ![]() I would say art is the difference. As for the story, don't remember it enough to say, sorry. wth its like we watched two different shows from what i gathered it's about a dysfunctional college student with unrealistic expectations repeating his first 2-3 years of college over and over again, each time choosing a different path in an attempt to wash away the melancholy of his days in high school which he found incredibly unfulfilling. ultimately he falls short and becomes further disillusioned, yet every time he repeats this loop he finds himself unable to grasp what's already in front of him (the show actually depicts this literally and figuratively). obviously it's a misconception because I haven't finished it, but to me so far it's pretty naive, and I feel like it panders to a college-age and older audience who are likewise disillusioned with what they've gotten out of life so far maybe when I find the motivation to finish this all the way through I'll change my mind If I've misinterpreted it so far, do share cause then I'd actually have a good reason to finish it

I was mostly talking about the previews since they showed her 'dead' but I can see them giving some random reason to her surviving (got healed in time or something). I didn't give much thought to what the purpose of the girls were in the last episode. Well, if you want to blame anyone, blame Layla. She's the leader of this whole thing. I only wrote down what I remembered and didn't go into much details because that's all I could remember about it (ie some girl he likes, influential friend, some loop etc...).

The character designs are simplistic and different from the commonplace anime character designs (guy who designed them never worked on another anime since) I guess but that's hardly a reason to dislike the various other things that Tatami Galaxy does better in the visual department. Essentially main character is stuck in a time loop and then goes and finds himself. What makes this show different from other SoL shows? Well...for one it's actually good, lol. Like...really good. Telling me that it's actually good without any explanation doesn't really tell me anything lol. So far, i got unique artstyle and varied vocabulary. I'm not really a kind of guy who cares about spoilers as i can watch shows even with massive spoilers so if you need to go to that territory, it's fine with me

Even though he ended up telling Masuzu to stay with him and that they will start all over, seems like the author didn't want it to end so clear cut. I mean, he tries to make enemies from each one of the girls to draw them away from him but he fails. Tries with Himechi, only makes her more attracted to him when she realizes that she can protect him now. Tries with A-chan but accidentally signs her marriage form with his blood due to a paper cut lol. Tries with Chiwa, she ended up kissing him and he was about to 'get into it' if Masuzu didn't show up to stop them. Based on that ending, I guess we're supposed to take away that Masuzu is winning so far but this fight isn't over at all and nothing is 100% confirmed. I mean, with something like Toradora, it was kinda obvious that Taiga won 100% especially how far they went lol but with this one, it didn't seem like that. Dunno if I think it's a good or bad ending. On the one hand, Chiwa who I was rooting for was rejected by the earlier kiss but it seems that he still has feelings for her and that ending as well etc... Anyone else thinking the same thing? Seems like this is the harem ending according to MAL. I'm really hoping for a season 2 now that the book will be out of the way. Maybe a season to develop their relationship and who knows, move away from the status quo to make things different. Slaughter, I saw the quiz episode: + Show Spoiler + I thought the outcome was quite interesting lol. I was hoping they'll ask more questions though. One is not enough imo and we would've seen Chiwa likely move up to first place instead of Ai-chan if that was the case ![]()

Are those who like it considered to have better taste than those who don't or vice-versa? ![]() I disagree that every other character than Masuzu is shit in that anime lol but to each their own ![]() nah, don't worry, you haven't spoiled anything for me lol. I've watched enough romcoms to see the same thing repeat over and over with the few exceptions so it's nothing new. I only wish that more anime veer away from the status quo and actually have secondary characters winning the MC's heart in the end. With that in mind, + Show Spoiler + here's to hoping that Hinata manages to catch Naruto's heart in the end of Naruto even if it's likely that Kishi won't touch much on that subject Nope kishi is definitely going into that direction bigfan nothing to worry. She is a more popular pair than the other one. And add to the side character winning thing + Show Spoiler [monogatari] + I still wishfully hope that Neko wins in the end . Not that the crab sucks. Senjougahara is amazing. Just i like the Neko to end up with arararagi more.

If you're going to watch it, just watch it and judge it for yourself. It's not really a slice of life anyway. It's more of a drama.

I think it's usually best to watch something for a bit since you'll likely get a different perspective than if someone told you about it in writing.
