I think you either go too far with how awful the war arc is, or vastly overrate Fairy Tail. There are still entertaining characters that aren't painfully generic and boring like in Fairy Tail.
I wonder if this discussion counts as "big 3 discussion" by bringing in Naruto... which would make us eligible for warnings. Welp.

I agree with Elem. I've got to say it did go down the shitters drastically and nostalgia is the only reason I'm keeping up (same with GT when it aired) but Fairy Tail really isn't any better...

I think kishi is just making trying to make the show "epic" and long as possible for the money and hoping that the viewers don't notice the quality with the "epic scenes" supposedly.

I think he's just trying to build up the hype for some final battle thus the powerups. Regardless, it must be difficult to maintain quality after 10 years or so? Thanks for the google search

asides from a panel or two, I haven't had much issues figuring out what's going on though I haven't read FT to see if it's more clear or not.

Gai was so OP with those moves lol. Had it been anyone but Madara, he would've definitely won that fight at the cost of his life but that was never Kishi's intention. He's a pretty cool character and imo he managed to maintain some of that

Don't remember much about Naruto art, but Bleach is infamous for shit backgrounds, and SnK suffers from an incredible lack of facial expression. Guess it's a tossup.

Was talking about the manga for Naruto btw, I don't know about the show. Bleach has shit backgrounds, but I can pretty much always know what the characters are doing (just not where the fuck they are)
