forgettable isn't really the word I'd use for Nise. Some of that stuff was as unforgettable as you'll get. The focus just shifted a little for Nise

I watch a lot of comedy shows and Nichbros is one that doesn't give me just light chuckles but some that actually give troubled-breathing laughs.

The focus doesn't change, the pacing got worse because Shaft expected to be able to not have to change anything like they got away with in Bake, only to realize that the source was pretty different length wise. They mostly fixed it up by Bake S2, but Nise and Neko kuro was kind of fucked by it.

Not even a hint or just a little bit of it ? .. If that's the case then that's great. I really wanted to watch this show. I heard hype from it like Nodame Cantabile. It was just the creepy part that bugged me. Good thing they did not ruin the anime and included that part.

That should be neko kuro, and it wasn't like that's any different from say, nadeko arc in bake, so I don't see how anything changed in that regard.
Neko Kuro improved on pacing at expense of some of the best bantering getting cut. Poor Tsukihi. Good thing she still owned s2.
