1080 are indeed just upscales, not worth downloading imho.
Your video-player can probably do a nearly as good if not just as good job at upscaling with barely any difference.
Different story for BD releases or shows made in 1080p like Nyaruko though(Still not sure why this was made in 1080p but i wont complain, lovely xebec animation combined with Asumi, Kana's god-tier voice).

Ongoing sure but for BD releases think it's worth getting the glorious 1080p and watching on huge tv. Although my Plex stuff doesn't always like Anime :<

There are very few anime where watching it in 1080p makes that much of a difference though unless you're watching like...the rebuild Evangelions or a Makoto Shinkai film. A lot of other anime essentially look the same either way. @_@

Well, TV broadcast was in 720p a few years ago at least, not sure if it's 1080p now (kinda doubt it). So there isn't much reason to get 1080p except BD

Soredemo: + Show Spoiler +Livi pulling the moves at the end lol. Also, competition! Wonder if we'll see more girls coming by to say that they used to love him or trying to take over Nike's spot. I would actually love to see someone come by who Livi also falls in love with. Would make the anime even better if pulled off right.

While I haven't watched it, I was under the impression that Dragon Ball Kai just removed the filler, letter boxed the video, and toned down the 90s-level gore.

With how they have set up the series until now, that would be silly if they had Livi do that.

+ Show Spoiler +true but for Livi, he wanted someone that cared about him and understood him so it wouldn't be that far-fetched if someone else who was just as good as Nike came into the picture and "won him over". Having said all that, I doubt it'll happen since they've obviously fallen in love with each other for good and it would look way out of place if he loves someone else after all the talk he's done about wanting her by his side(roughly speaking) etc... At this point, the show is essentially over from the love perspective lol however having other characters coming in to try and break them up for their own personal benefits like in the last episode wouldn't be that bad of an idea. ya, Nike is still the most interesting and still can't get over the whole "Livi is a child" :/
edit: One week friends: starting to shape up nicely. + Show Spoiler +Wonder what this emotional baggage is. Maybe she got rejected or something which is why she ran across the road when it was still red though why her memory is missing after all that time is a mystery. Guess it was too painful and it got blocked which is why she can't recall it. Her mom also asking him if they held hands lol. Guess it's that obvious  Their new friend was great too and it's nice to see that things are falling into place for her and that she has more friends to talk to. Looking forward to future episodes :D

I'm watching it, it's probably my 3rd time watching Dragon Ball. :D
It's really face paced with no fillers. Since this season there's the Buu saga, the episodes thus far were really funny because there is the Great Tournament going on (or what it was called). Mister Satan ftw.
