Or will they rework the story/storytelling? It's a different studio doing it and will be new route or existing route(Info was a bit weird. There were rumors of them doing their own thing but supposedly that was incorrect). Same guys that did F/Z and KnK so we can assume that animation will be great .. as well pacing now the only issue would be if Emiya Shirou is still a dumbass in this route or a bigger dumbass in this route. He was only terrible in Fate rough, assuming we are not going down that path again. i hope not .. the only reason i did not drop fate stay night was the promise that fate zero is rarely good that spawns every couple of years and would be a better watch if you watched fate stay night.. Stupid idea i know but it actually helped settling the bars low. And F/Z is good so i was not disappointed unlike SAO. So it was a better watch. People die when they are killed.
- Emiya Shirou I don't wanna hear that fucking line again. Shirou making the MC from mirai nikki look good. That line is so stupid because: 1, The translation is awful 2, It actually made sense in the context, since Shiro was returning the scabbard, which makes him in fact NOT die when killed. 3, gigguk is a douchenozzle
@bolded-part: oh yeah that makes sense..
actually my friends suggested fate zero to me but they are also the ones that said Naruto in the last arc where gai kicking madara's ass is cool so nevermind them .. and i saw gigguk's vod about fate zero after watching fate zero so it was a fair game.. but i was searching reviews of the show and they were giving good feedbacks of it
and i read the watch the fate stay night before fate zero crap ..

No one ever says watch fate stay night before fate zero... at least here, or watch fate stay night ever Play the VN which is available in English trans and fairly easy to find.

I forgot if i ever asked people here before watching fate zero or if i asked and kinda forgot the opinions about it.Or i was not posting at this thread as much yet.
The point is i mistakenly followed the advices i found in MAL. Worked out fine for me though.
I don't particularly like VN's much. Normally if i wanted to know the bg story of some show that is originally from VN's i ask people and/or google search the BG story.

To be fair to Emiya, he had to get all his tips on being a protagonist from his father.

Well the dude did abandon his wife's "daughter" and shacked up with some random street kid instead.

It wasn't like the Einzbern were just going to let him have Ilya, nor was it like he barely made it to the Einzbern main base barely alive while he was in his prime. I am most curious to hear how you propose he would've not abandoned Ilya.

Did he even try? I thought he just gave up and never actually tried getting her out of that cesspool. Meh Fate/Kaleid is best anyway. Shiki wouldn't let that shit happen either. He decided to rather try funnel his guilt through "saving" the street kid than saving llya.

The guy's whole philosophy was kill a few to save many. Sure he's show how stupid that is but at least die trying to save her instead of giving up. I just don't like him and the least he could do is save her even if it killed him to do it.

I don't think that was the general idea of his philosophy. Wasn't it like "it doesn't matter how it happens as long as the result is good". It's sort of opposite of the kantianism idea(which i forgot the name of the ethical belief .. it's almost 4am here don't blame me).
I think he gave up with his idea and that was sort of the redemption of everything he did by raising the orphan kid. At least that's how i understood it.
I don't think he was capable of bypassing the barrier the einzberg set up. We can maybe assume that from time to time that guy actually tries to check if he can go through the barrier or something but always fails.

In F/SN it's actually suggested that he did try to get to Ilya multiple time until his death, as his many "oversea trips" and leave Shiro to the care of Taiga.

Ah k that makes it a little less sad. I think I wouldn't be so pissed at the situation if there wasn't Sakura in there as well. Having both of their stories is too much. One is tragic enough.
Just on another note. Why does Kariya never tell Rin about what her sister is put through? She doesn't seem like the kind of person to just let that shit happen and I thought the Tohsaka family was extremely strong at that point.

Also since that F/SN is written way before F/Z, and by different people, a bunch stuff will not quite add up. Urobuchi did a decent job but it's hard to retroactively make up stuff so previous work make sense.

Huh? You mean why the crazy delusional nut job didn't tell the six year old girl that her sister is getting raped by tentacles? I wonder...
