1/3 of flashbacks rofl I kinda stopped trying to enjoy this for zombie slaying and am pretty much only looking for zombie movie references and lulz. so here's what I have for ep4: + Show Spoiler [movie] + ![]() Shell of the Dead? + Show Spoiler [lulz] + ![]() Oh noes, it's the blue glare of death! can't let people see boobs getting groped! I was thinking back and like, in ep3 there's also some references aside from the blatant RE2 one I pointed out here : + Show Spoiler [Shaun of the Dead references] + ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The AT-X raw we used didn’t.

But I guess killing all of the Shrike Team was a better idea than killing those two >_> You know, looking back, Zeta Gundam had an even more Kill 'em All end than Victory, which kind of surprises me. Well... I don't know about that. People that were expected to die in zeta did, most of which were from the Titans. The only one was out of the norm was Emma Sheen (I guess that would be the equivalent of Marbet dying in Victory). I mean, they had enough people to make ZZ and Char's counterattack. However, I'm surprised that between Shakti and Katejina, neither of them died. As we all know, the only profession more dangerous than being a gundam pilot is being the gundam pilot's love interest. Oh, and p.s., spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen an anime more than 20 years old.

I only watch shows in Japanese with English subs though, I haven't been able to find a show I like in English (besides Cowboy Bebop, but I watched that a long time ago). Shows I've seen so far (In order of how much I liked them): *Snip* If anybody knows any good shows they think I might like (I like mecha/sci-fi mainly) please post it for me! Umm, let's see here. Planetes ** Macross Zero (Short OVA) Terra E.. Perfect Blue Eve No Jikan ** Eureka 7 ** RahXephon Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (One of the maybe 3 shows i'd say the english dub is better)** Pale Cocoon Ergo Proxy Legend of the Galactic Heroes ** Code Geass Full Metal Panic! ** = these are good to start with, either short or highly interesting or just plain awesome. That's all I can come up with off the top of my head. Most of those are Sci-fi/Space Opera/Mecha but some deviate a bit from the norm. As for your Lucky Star/FLCL stuff: Pani Poni Dash! Full Metal Panic?: Fumoffu Azumanga Daioh K-On! Cromartie High School Paranoia Agent I'd take all of these with a grain of salt, what I like may not necessarily be what you like n_n

I mean, they had enough people to make ZZ and Char's counterattack. Oh, and p.s., spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen an anime more than 20 years old. Bright, Shinta and Qum, and Fa survived. Char survived, but you never learn that until Char's Counter Attack. Kamille got mind fucked. Everyone else died (other than the Karaba guys who weren't present for the final battle). They had enough people to do ZZ gundam because Judau's group were all brand new, plus the villains were the Neo Zeon people, rather than the Titans, so a mostly new group of villains to draw from/kill. In Victory Gundam, Uso lived, Shakti lived, Katejina lived (although she was mind fucked), Marbet lived, and all those other kids on the White Arc lived as well. The only kid that died was Odelo. So it just seems like alot more important characters died at the end of Zeta, than Victory. On July 27 2010 09:07 SirKibbleX wrote: Hey there guys. If you liked stuff like Gurren Lagann, and Gunbuster/Diebuster, you could try out Godannar. G Gundam as well. Mazingkaiser and GaoGaiGar other good Super Robot shows as well. For real robot stuff, most Gundam shows are a good bet, although some are pretty old. Full Metal Panic! is good, and Martian Successor Nadesico is good. Escaflowne is good, but its really different from the others I mentioned, but still a good mech show. If you don't mind for really old anime, Votoms is another good choice.

I felt that Victory had more of a "hey let's introduce a character just so that we can kill him/her off", whereas the characters in Zeta stick around till the end. Hence, Victory had more of a kill 'em all attitude but the deaths in Zeta has more emotional baggage.

I don't really think those kids were inconsequential, in Victory at least. Most of them were pretty much functional crew members of the White Arc, so its not like they were the same type of kids from 0079 or Zeta, who served no purpose.

Oh, and HoTD dind't really appeal to me at first, i'm not a big fan of fanservice, but is just that kind of somewhat dumb but rather fun show. Plus this qoutes from an interview with the director really made me laugh: "We don't intend to forget Breasts-Butts-Thighs even in a world full of zombies" "We want to continue adding as many breast bounces as possible" "We think people that come to watch this anime come to watch the breasts" "I've never seen any anime with so much breast bouncing as this one" "The staff has gotten used to it and are bouncing those breasts without me having to say anything" "I'm trying to make this anime in a way that I, when I was a middle schooler, would have definitely bought" http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=132098&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=60

Just wanted to bitch about how Fujimi Fantasia loves doing that. Seriously, its like they start having seizures when their light novels go over 300 pages. Owari no Chronicles was hitting over 400 for two part stuff, and let's not even bring up how gigantic Nishio Ishin's stuff are. Famicon isn't cheap about it either. It is just freaking Fujimi Fantasia, and I hate them so for it. It wasn't really a cliffhanger ending, I'll just say it since I don't think it constitutes as any kind of spoiler, Sousuke just landed on the Island. They ended it right there. Also, don't read the spoilers below unless you don't think a translation will come out in your lifetime, + Show Spoiler [FMP novels] + Wraith is hinting that the mess in the last vol might have turned out...better...than imagined. Nothing concrete yet, but I sure wouldn't mind a deus ex machina. However, it is slightly lame that the deus ex machina possibility is bought up after they kill off some semi-important character randomly (probably just to make a point), now I can't take that death seriously. Not that I really did in the first place. It was a slightly disappointing vol though, they finally brought up a point that I have been partially suspecting for a while, but really hastily. The entire vol 11 feels like an attempt to get everything out of the way barring the major characters and their resolutions before the final confrontation...when it is something like that in a long running series like this. Surely you can spare more than 250 pages for that, right? And yeah in the end I think that's the only relation it had to piano. So, so, so, sad. ffs I hope I edited that on time. from a few posts ago, Sentenal, you'd really say that Nadesico was good? There was like 3 good episodes and the movie. The following novelization and game worked out slightly better quality, but still. It was definitely a landmark anime, but I wouldn't recommend it to people unless I know for a fact that they'd do it just for Ruri's bakabaka.
