Also, I just started Toradora! and I am on episode 16. Pretty good stuff, I didn't think I would find an anime of these genre(s) quite this good. | ||

don't really wanna spoil much (even if it's a 2006 anime) but man it's a great ride. all the subplots actually bring something to the story and help deepen the characters. so many themes too (MMORPG addiction, depression, paranoia, otakuism, bipolarity. conspiracy theories and many more) that makes it so you're never bored. + Show Spoiler [Misaki ending spoiler] + I think I'm broken or something, I keep wishing characters end up Yandere. that blank expression in Misaki's eyes when and after she sees Tatsuhiro with his senpai screamed for some axe action, ffs. | ||

You are broken, and based on interpretation that ending can be worse than just a + Show Spoiler + regular yandere ending BRS is another case where the doujin culture comes to live. Think Touhou but with a vocaloid vid. | ||

I think it's a deformation after watching and reading School Days yeah I don't know what to make of the ending either, but I just saw it as + Show Spoiler + "life is hard but must go on whatever happens". it's not a good or bad ending, more like a human ending. I read the translated novel here and I have to say making it a 24ep anime was a good choice. it seems like those 11 chapters are short and it's like, a 10min read at most but there's so much depth that just can't be explained by words and can only work with time. like I said I liked the subplots despite them not affecting the main story because they didn't have that tacked on feeling. on the contrary the passage of time they allowed was the right way to convey the inexplicable feelings, as some sort of form of empathy. the ending feels much darker for the novel + Show Spoiler ['cause...] + because there doesn't seem like there's hope. everyone moves on but Satou kinda goes back to his old ways, aside from the fact he has to work (a bare minimum) to live now. I think I'll read the manga soon enough, seeing how it's completed and all. need to finish re-reading Chobits first, damn it's been a while since I read that. | ||

A Recap? 4 Episodes in? That makes no sense whatsoever. If it wasn't for the fact that I don't really like to drop shows it would be dropped now. + Show Spoiler [Ookami-San episode 4] + This series started off really bad but has been getting a little better over the past couple weeks, I approve. Not really sure about the whole maid thing, and it'd be nice to see what they actually did to make the people pay back their debts, but whatever. + Show Spoiler [Shiki episode 3] + The little girl is awesome. Best show of the season right here, first couple episodes were kinda slow but this is really picking up. I think i'm going to have to read the manga at some point, too. + Show Spoiler [ Seitokai episode 4] + After a complete trainwreck episode 3 and an okay episode 2, they actually picked it up a little bit. Still on the verge of dropping, but still provides some entertainment value. I can already see the Tsuda/shino shipping though. | ||

BRS and DM are alter-egos of the main characters and what they do parallels what's happening in the real world. A lot of people have been saying that since the director or Haruhi directed this everything isn't in chronological order i.e school scenes up 'till main character finding Yomi's star strap -> merge with BRS -> all BRS scenes -> ending. | ||

And Katejina. But I guess killing all of the Shrike Team was a better idea than killing those two >_> You know, looking back, Zeta Gundam had an even more Kill 'em All end than Victory, which kind of surprises me. | ||
