If you're looking for comedy, which is what I'm taking away from your post, you might want to try Witch Craft Works from last season (aired during the 2nd half of KLK and thus already finished). It's nowhere as over the top as KLK but it is quite hilarious and... let's call it weird. As for this season: No Game No Life seems to be really good so far but it's somewhat down the ecchi road. Not a lot (so far, no idea if it's going to get more or stay this way) but ... actually KLK was probably even more down that road so forget about that. Might be your kind of show, I'd certainly check it out. It's one of the top anime's this season for me so far. And than there's Mekakucity Actors, only 1 episode in and if I've got to be honest I have no idea what it's about. I think it's going to be extremly hit or miss. I'm a huge Shaft fan so I do like it a lot but there's also people who just don't seem to like that kind of thing. Example of the humour from EP-1 in pictureform because it's really hard to explain what it's about when you don't know what it's about: + Show Spoiler [click me] + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/mtQos4x.jpg) Hoozuki no Reitetsu would be another comedy from last season but I'm not sure if that fits the weird KLK-bill all that much. | ||

Used to watch one piece regularly, though off late I've taken a break from that. Some other anime's I've enjoyed in general: Steins gate, Darker than Black, Code Geass, Legend of the Galactic Heroes (Havent finished this yet), GTO (Loved this). Generally not into romance, although golden time was a notable exception. I guess slice of life not really my thing, unless it has an action or mecha sub theme, or just amazing humour, Full metal panic first season was good. So yea, I will WitchCraftWorks looks interesting, will check out the other two. Thanks | ||

If it doesn't have to be comedy I'd check out Log Horizon. I'd also say Gin no Saji / Silver spoon as well but that's slice of life I guess. No idea anymore what aired in Fall  | ||

I'm not too sure about anything else, as i'm really a slice of life type. I would recommend watching one episode of d-frag (i guess it's kind of slice of life-ish/parody/random shit in general). If you liked the first, the rest is amazing. If you don't, don't watch it. edit: second part is directed towards ziken | ||

Edit: Refreshing my memory I can see what they could have done better in the movies. + Show Spoiler + The way Girge died in the movie meant they also had to change the way Borcuses died. Borcuses in the manga taunts Rygart into killing him instead of capturing him which kind of drives Rygart insane. Also the PTSD, prisoner exchange, hunt for Delphine, villager massacre and Narvi gets revenge. Still the movie ending did leave room for a second season. Hoping for a second season, the manga events are kind of slow and not enough for a second season yet, but it does seem to be leading to something big. Oh one thing that still bothers me about Break Blade is they never explain how Rygart can talk to other pilots. | ||

that show is ass I think of all the shows this season it's actually one of the worst lol. Not a big fan of it at all. The character design is kind of bland, the story itself is essentially Mirai Nikki but without anything special and basically just a cover up for dem shoujo ai shit. In a show that kind of promised action the animation is whatever and as far as the characters are concerned (since this seems to be a character driven piece anyway), it looks like all we're going to get are a bunch of very stock and unoriginal archetypes and tropes. But we all knew that was going to be the case going in, so the fact I'm complaining just means I'm M and I should stop watching to spare myself additional pain. | ||

The anime like....surged in popularity after it aired, so I think it's plenty talked about (though maybe not here, I wouldn't know). Apparently it's ranked like 160 on MAL now or something equally ridiculous. | ||
